this version is really satisfying to listen to! on an unrelated note i love ethereal island’s castle bass

I like how there is Rare Wubbox but no normal Wubbox. I love it.

I’ve been trying to avoid spoilers for monculus’ sound so I watched this video in full without volume, very entertaining would recommend 👍

The best thing I've seen anyone do with wubbox on ethereal island is on spotify - they made it so wubbox only plays at the very end of the song, and it still took a little getting used to, but honestly I think it works (as long as it only plays at the very end so it doesn't ruin the main part >:[ )

1. this is replacing light island in my playlist. 2. this sounds amazing. It doesn't sound cluttered, and overall is amazing.

Nice version of Ethereal Island! I notice Common Wubbox wasn’t there, and like the only way it works is an outro monster similar to how it was handled in MSM Volume 1 soundtrack. (works well in that specific context but like nowhere it works)

Absolutely Amazing! Plus Monculus is louder! Poor guy was too quiet for such a godly beautiful sound. ^-^ I wonder if you'll do the four non pure Magical Islands what with the Fire Expansion that made them unique (also just to improve Light Island and remove the repetitive as hell vocalist abude) or update this with Wubbox (it could technically fit into a verse as long as Reebro isn't playing or only uses its third track that is background percussion)? Just curious is all. :0

Heyo! Looks like you’ve come out with yet another banger of a remix! Well it seems I “must” do another review! Alright off the bat the castle and jeeode duo is actually a really nice intro! It works well both as a tune at to set the stage for the rest of the song! The castle (again), nebulob, and ghazt trio is, like before, much more peaceful and leagues better than having wubbox sing right at the first “main” verse. Definitely sounds more ethereal and wispy than before. Actually just now am I realizing there’s not ever gonna be a normal wubbox, which I definitely approve of! Having reebro and kazilleon join in works wonders, and really helps the latter be much more apparent and appreciated more, as he tends to get completely overruled by louder monsters. Then having only arackule joining in for the chorus definitely sounds a biiit empty, but i’m sure it’ll be fixed soon (also yes I write this as I watch the video so I don’t know what happens next lmao) I will admit not having fungpray join in the start of the chorus did make me a little sad as they’re my 2nd favorite monster in the game, but hey they’ll probably be here soon enough! Hey I was right they’re here already! Having whisp and the new one, monculus, join in with fungpray helps the building of the song as it ramps up to what I expect will be the full main verse! Ooh having jeeode reappear at the end of monculus’s is a nice touch! I approve! Having the “same” jeeode+castle duo BUT now with reebro helps it feel much more consistent with itself, nice! Having the same “pre-chorus(???)” but now with sox, another one of my favorites, continues my previous consistency point, while also just sounding good in general. Oh damn rare wubbox making an appearance so early! Ethereal island rare wub has always been my favorite of the rare wubbox’s so I like this change quite a lot.Okay now back to the main verse, having dragong, grumpyre, the dipsters,along with fungpray and whisp right off the bat is a nice addition to the song, and, as always, sounds really nice! Oh hell yea you made humbug way more audible! Props to you for that! Oh also boodoo is there too, he makes the song have a nice rhythm, and i’ve always liked maracas so I enjoy his addition. Monculus is back! I was sad when he only played once, so that with the fact he also brought bellowfish with him, both of these are changes im welcoming with open arms! Not much to say about that next part as it’s all characters we’ve already heard, but I will say i enjoy having arackule back.Yet again fungpray dominates their part of the song, I feel like you can tell why they’re my second favorite monster of all time. Oh nice having one last big ‘meeting’ of most of the monsters before having it switch to just jellibelly and a few others for what I assume is the ending part is a nice touch! Oh nice having boodoo end a little before the others making it come to an even more gentle stop! Speaking of stopping, I should wrap this up, huh? Well, overall you turned an amazing song into an absolute masterpiece! You had the monsters spread out more overall which helped both the overcrowded and empty parts become more even! Honestly I think I am on the outs in saying that the way you edited it made me realize how much more I love the og song. Don’t get me wrong the way you did it is nice, I love that Moculus sings more, however with certain monsters not playing at certain parts I guess now it feels very empty to me since I have listened to this song so much. Again, this could just be musical tastes conflicting, but I guess I’m sadly not a fan I guess 😅. Still was interesting listening to how you would have done it.

I actually agree that normal wubbox is bad on this island, to the point where I just kinda want to mute it. It just doesn’t fit the vibe at all
