recently purchased motog82 for my wife...It's been so good and the battery life is stellar..Apart from camera everything is Buttery smooth, she is so happy and the network reception she got is way better than some of samsung smartphones she added...So thinking of buying edge series now...
I was tempted to buy a 5g smartphone during recent bigbillion/great Indian festival. 5G was inaugurated by PM. and came to know 5g phones need OTA updates. So now I am planning to wait for another couple of months. And thanks Mr. Ranjit, this video justifies my decision.
People were saying same things when 5G phones were just launched in India, I didnt listen to these youtubers this band that band blah blah, 5G will be very costlier, it'll take years to come you'll change ur phone by that time, I don't upgrade my smartphone every year, so 5G was my priority I went ahead with my instinct, I bought Mi 10i 5G(which had just 2 bands N77,N78) almost 2 years back and today with my same Airtel 4G pack, first time I experienced 5G(Airtel) , speed was coming 300Mbps , it gave me so much happiness, in my friend circle I'm the first one to exp 5G although others are carrying flagships from different brands as well. Even after 2 years my phone is working flawlessly, battery back up is still great, on top of that now it has 5G, I purchased it thinking to buy a future proof smartphone and here I'm using one which I purchased 2 years back, no need for upgrade, thanks to Xiaomi.
Honestly, as a person who uses their phone for atleast 3-5 years, Motorola has done a great job supporting my Edge 20 Fusion. I actually bought the phone for it's clean and near stock UI (Also no ads), I am quite happy that they're committed. Hope people learn from this experience and not just blindly go for the phone that has the better processor at the cheapest price and actually look at the usability and software of a phone and how long it lasts.
You are true legend. I have Moto G71 and from your video today will learn about purchasing a moto phone is my best decision till now for using 5G in India. Thank you.
As of now jio and moto are king of 5g and thank you so much ranjit sir ,you made every concept crystal clear.Hope to expect more videos like this from you soon.
Hi Ranjit, Although there are lot of youtubers putting technical videos and calling them techtubers, but i think you are the pure TECHTUBER, iam a huge fan of your channel and videos and have been following ur channel from past 7 years i believe and truly the review of urs is Authentic and for every new mobile release, I first wait to watch your unboxing or review videos first, and this is very very informative video and thank you for your lot of hardwork to make this videos and make us understand properly....hatsoff...👍😎👌👌🙂
The most required video on 5G... The amount of research done by him just shows his utter dedication... Thank you Ranjit sir for this full class and total understanding that we got about 5g
Very helpful video .. Thanks. upgraded from 4g smartphone to Motorola g62 5 G and just waiting for 5g software update . interesting thing i have observed is in the same place i got double the 4g internet speed in my moto g62 5g smartphone. Like my earlier 4g smartphone having 4g+ also gives Airtel net speed about 10-15 mbps .. now i am getting Airtel 4g net speed of 40-50 mbps in moto g62 5g smartphone .
I show many videos on 5g but no one explain this in details , now i am capable to understand which smart phone is capable of using 5g network or not... Keep doing it... Whenever 5g hardware phone will launch make same details information about it .👍👍
Being a techy myself, i can relate to the terms mentioned in the articles and stuff but this is hats off the best video in terms of user connect with 5g in india. Well explained and it will surely help the users for making an informed decision.Hats off to you @geekyranjit😊
Your content is well-researched. I'd recommend some more on-screen graphics to help push the point home. E.g. when talking about definition of terms, the types of networks / features used by the different operators etc.
This is really really a proper informative video. It is elaborate to the point and there is so much to learn. People jump over buying 5G and whatnot, But the actual scenery is so different. No company ever tells us the architecture of the hardware what kind of architecture it uses what quality of it is and what will it support and what will it not. It is better for every company to give in all the details to the consumers. The Moto CEO in an interview gave all the details every company should have at least a spokesperson to tell the consumers what is there in their phones. Just processors and software don't make a sense anymore. We are made fools by just the name of the brand's name of processor. People are complaining over coverage reception problems and blaming the service providers which in reality is a problem with their sets. The government and TRAI have to have certain rules set for every phone sold in India with complete and proper information be given to consumers.
So, it will be wise to hold of your phone upgrade till 2024 (at least) if you are upgrading just to get 5G 🙂. Thank you so much for giving some clarity on the roll out plan.
GeekyRanjit, you are truly one of the best tech review channel in the world who I admire. I have been watching your videos since early 2010's and in my opinion you are "The Best" tech review channel in India.
Excellent information about 5G and I hope none of them would give such a clarity than this. Kudos to moto team for better understanding from consumer perspective !!!
Quite amazing and helpful video. Also liked the fact that in every smartphone review you used to mention the bands they support as these things buyers overlook generally

Lol they already rolled out the support for 5g now, how long will you guys going to suck oneplus , when Samsung launch Premium devices still has to wait for updates
hey RANJIT SIR,BIG FAN OF URS HONESTY AND A SUBSCRIBER SINCE 2018...A request is please do a video every month suggesting MOBILE PHONES IN EVERY PRICE RANGE.....since now we can't follow each and every launch products...its comparisons....else.....i know u would take this in consideration as WE CAN RELY BLINDLY ON YOUR SUGGESTIONS..ATLEAST ME....
Awesome video on 5G. I think Airtel is definitely at a much better place with respect to 5G. They are using NSA network during the transition period which will make it easier for people to switch to 5G and also airtel 5G will be more quick to deploy and hence will get more subscribers who want to switch to 5G. They will ultimately move to SA network when things stabilise and more 4G bands gets free. This is a brilliant strategy in my opinion. I think Jio is just spending cash unnecessarily to get the ‘cool’ 5G network but the transition is difficult, slow and will definitely loose subscribers in the process
Very impressive video. Great to see Motorola as the torch bearer after so many years in the mobile phone department. Brands became a hero and lived long enough to become the villain. But, Motorola has been so long in the space that it has redeemed itself into a hero after becoming a villain
Recommend Please! My Requirements: - Portability: Travels a lot. So, 14 inch or less. 1.4 kg or less. Prefers good built quality over anything. - I do graphics related tasks like Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro (occasionally). So, need colour accuracy. - Most daily uses include Office/Study works, Pdfs, Media consumptions, prints, browsing etc. What I don't do: - Gaming - Heavy Video editing. - Video conference. Tight on budget. Under Rs. 65k. Love Xiaomi Book Pro i5 12th gen 120 but at 72k it's too costly for me. Is last year's Mi Notebook Pro i5 11th gen still a good choice to be used for the next 2-3 years? Pls suggest any other options.
