Flying jets in battlefield is a totally different game

it is literally impossible to learn the jet all th lvl 140 players just destroy u and turn like 180 degrees

I would like to add something important. So I'm a somewhat decent attack helicopter pilot and ifv driver. If you want to strafe an attack heli, you should do so with a good hight advantage and in as steep an angle as possible. Competent crews will just shred you in less than 3 seconds if you dont. The jets can ascend to a higher altitude than the helicopters, so use that advantage an try keeping to an angle above 60 degrees. This way, the helicopter has way less time use its weapons (be aware if tvs and tows anywhay), looses a lot of altitude and risks crashing into the ground. And second, if there is a good enemy ifv, you should make your attacks on ground targets in very steep angles as well and try to pull up relatively early. Otherwise you just invite the to add you tho their next tow montage.

wow, nice tutorial mate. I'm usually content with 1 or 2 kills in a jet, especially if I can cap off my run with a nice low pass-barrel roll over a group of allies to give them that cinematic experience haha!

I love flying the jets and hate dog fighting.. If its clear the enemy pilot is struggling I usually let him fly around and see the sights. It keeps the good pilots on the ground ;-)

*Semi-Pro Semi-Nerd tip* :Most of the maps i fly jets and almost every time there are this cowboys, or psychological cops who stare my jet and say "aaaalright it's time to teach this fly some manners." They hop in to sj, and chase me. Some are better than me some arent. But the catch is, I got a chronometer on my desk and whenever i kill sj, i start it. At 80 secs, beeper goes off and tells me 10 sec to cowboy in sj spawning. I fly high towards sun and just circle there while he is circling at his base, tying to figure out where the hell am i. Most of the time he gets bored and go after a heli, allowing me to feast on his sorry ass :)

I’m sure this advice will be really useful once I actually manage to pick a jet in the deploy screen

flares work before and after the missile has been fired, and reloads faster. but it's also leaving a trail behind you so it doesnt work well against missiles or locks from the front. acm also makes you disappear from minimap as stated, and pretty much works 360 degrees.

You can also get away from ground locks if you fly relatively high incase you wanna save countermeasures etc

As good as this jet guide is, I think that flares are far more relaible than ECM when it comes to the AJ. For my countermeasures I want something that works 100% of the time against any missile, and flares do that way better than ECM, which has 50% success rate for me. Also flares have a way shorter cooldown than ECM, which means you can play more agressive and kill more stuff Love your vids Ghost

it would be really interesting if bf6 had post stall maneuver mechanics imo.

Great vid but my problem isn’t the strat that you need to use or the situational awareness. My problem is with the controls. the controls feel so weird especially when you try to aim compared to warthunder

Hardest part in the jet for me on base PS4 console isn't so much flying. But the poor textures and texture pop in. Makes it so difficult to actually see enemies too

note that on PS theres a stationery AA that at C, where it lands, will permanently attack the team that didnt have the base captured during the remaining time. Capture C and youll have it for your team for the rest of the match.

I've always just used a controller for jets. Only jets though. Helis I use MK. Just transferred over from BF3 on PS3 into BF3 on PC and then 4 on PC

Dude, five years since I played bf4 for first time and just finally found a good tutorial about jets, thanks for all the info. Just I have a question, how do you make that the third person cam keeps semi static when you are flying in circles? When I do that my camera and my jet moves at the same time and is hard to me recognize what kind of movement I'm doing. (I'm not sure if I explained well the question, my writing skills in English are too basic haha)

I'm an Allrounder, i am annoying in Jets, tanks, boats, choppers and I fantwry, but I only hardcore excel in tanks and Infantery, at the other things I'm good too, chopper even a bit more advanced but that's it

Man it's a pity you did not show us how to control speed properly when in an attack jet because they function differently from the stealth jets. I mean when I go to the test range and start doing vertical loops, I hit W when going up and my speed still falls below 300 km whilst in a stealth jet afterburners and throttle up work just fine. That's a huge difference and I can't figure out how to compensate that gravity when in an attack jet

i cant see any targets on the ground because of the draw distance but in your gameplay everything is super clear, is there a way to change it or is there a setting im missing?

An empty jet also can take out heavy armoured vehicles if you drop it against them

so... this game it's best to go for a rate fight than try for a nose position fight?

My problem now is i do a strafe run on a tank and suddenly a missle hits me and i'm immobilised and i slam in to the ground. And i use stealth coating and ecm jammer.

whats the best way to avoid mobile AA, they are a real pain for me, i cant confidently establish air superiority when i know that an AA can shred me instantly

Great video nice work! One tip I would like to mention is to increase your vehicle FOV so you can see more of you're surrounding in 3rd person.

I go for the attack jet but get double teamed bc I can never find a good stealth jet to help

I bought the game 2 days ago and the first time I picked up a jet I magaged to crash it within 10 seconds

I play on console and its so hard to control I got 1 SINGLE kill with stealth jet today and i was the happiest player ever because i struggle just to survive with jet

I swear after this, I’m gonna get my leather jacket, my aviator glasses and blast “Danger zone” while being in a jet.

I have a question. I came to BF4 on PC, and every single match there are jets, the pilots are averaging 40-60 kills a match. That being said, there is absolutely no way for a noob to learn. My longest jet run was 18 seconds before I was shot down. I have absolutely no idea how one is supposed to play jets when the enemy jets are hovering over your own spawn all the time, all match, every match. Suggestions? The server does not matter, every server I have tried has been a minimum of 30 kill jet guys. Apparently all these jet guys are hardcore, I would love to even get a hitmarker on anything before being shot down

Hard, hard disagree on the belt feeder upgrade for the attack jet. With belt feeder you can lay on the trigger forever and it's just great. Stealth coating is overrated. Same with the little bird and its miniguns
