although I don't like m157 one bit, this is quite true. 4matic and twin turbo setup gave eclass amg a true cutting edge and made it quite relevant with the competition of the day. I find M156 RWD configuration to be far more fun to drive around tho
@@GLRGroup Why don’t you like the M157? I’d recommend actually driving a M157 to see how it drives. The 70/30 split performs very similar to RWD car and makes more power.
@@Shalerboy101 honestly m157 is a good performing engine but there are a bit more unreliable from what i see as a mechanic/dealership. I did drove m157 cls63 which I love but m156 has a special part in my heart
Sad thing is, lots of people snatch these cars for pennies on the dollar just to hoon with them, but cheap out on the required maintenance on a close-to six figure vehicle. So many molested and neglected examples of these on the used market as a result.
yeah I agree. This steering wheel design was a big mistake from MB and you can see that they knew this because facelift has a much more modern looking steering wheel. Primary reason i would never own a c63 coupe is I am 6'4 so it is quite uncomfortable for me. and if i am getting a 4dr sedan might as well get the e class
