Of all those listed, switching the lightspeed dash so you don't accidentally bounce into an abyss (that happened on City Escape soooo many times...), maintaining speed when hitting a wall (looking at you Metal Harbor), and using any character on any stage are the ones that stand out to me the most, definitely great QoL improvements.

I actually didn’t know about some of these mods, thanks for making this video. Personally, I really enjoy the “no summersault” mod, which removes the summersault and replaces it with a spindash. It still keeps the properties of the summersault though, so you can spindash and still go below small gaps, which is notable because the “instant spindash” code in the mod loaded doesn’t do that. It’s pretty cool!

Just thought I might point somethings out you missed. First off, the order of which you place mods is VERY IMPORTANT. I can't remember the exact mod order, but I'll update this once I check again. Second, make sure to enable One-Click install to download the mods with ease. It's in options. Third, extract the mod loader into your SA2 folder, pretty sure that it's necessary. That's it Edit: Mod Order will be coming when I remember, possibly sometime this week

Ah, you're right... I completely forgot to mention how to use the actual Mod Loader. I was just more focused on the actual Mods, I suppose. That's my mistake. I'll pin this comment in case people are confused about how to work the actual Mod Loader. Thanks, Xblade!

Render Fix now exists and should be added to the list. I made a mod for the game. Subtitle Fixing. It fixes the typos and oddities in the subtitles during Story Mode. 3:54 Actually, it's 98% of fixes. 2 oddities still happen even with the mods, but it's easy to shrug them off. 5:08 I wouldn't suggest this mod, it's broken.

True theres also a hint retranslation mods that fix the hints in knukles and rouge levels theres also a mod for the mechs called the vulcan cannon mod this mod males it so that the vulcan cannon and the lazer reticle are both on seperate buttons so you can shoot the vulcan cannon in eternal engine for example and dont have to worry about using the lazer reticle

Nah, if you wanna try the game out modless, that’s completely fine. SA2 without Mods is still a solid game. I just believe that these mods help improve the overall experience. You’re more than welcome to play it modless for your first time! :)

Why is Character Select Plus essential? You can’t beat the speed stages as the mech or treasure hunting characters, the mech stages with the speed or treasure hunting characters, or the treasure hunting stages as the speed or mech characters.

That’s why I had it as one of the last Mods listed in the video. As I said at the beginning of the video, the order of Mods are listed from essential to least important. This Mod isn’t essential in the slightest, it just happens to be one that I often use. If the Mod isn’t for you, then that’s fine.

Unfortunately the game just does not open for me the launcher boots up but when I try to start it it says something about an exception occurring and asks me if I want to try to continue or quit but continuing does nothing I’ve tried tons of things I really don’t know why it’s not starting. Damn shame really

Hm… That’s odd. I can’t say that I’ve ran into the problem before. Have you train uninstalling and reinstalling the game? I know that sounds dumb, but it’s worth a shot, I suppose.
