He's probably my favorite character, certainly the most endearing of them all. Maybe I empathize a bit with Charlie as well but Cricket? Guy is my spirit animal, sorry, spirit dog.
I always forget that Dee is just as psychopathic as the rest of the gang, lol. The way the rest of the gang bullies her always gives me the illusion that she's innocent. I'm not sure who is the least bad in the gang, maybe Charlie?
I'd say Dee is honestly the worst. Even Frank had the Christmas episode (tho that flipped real fast). Dee dumped a veteran because she thought he was a paraplegic. Most of Charlie's shit is due to stupidity and/or learning disability (definitely not all of it), so I'd say yeah, Charlie.
I love Seinfeld, but this supporting cast/recurring characters are the BEST of any show I've ever seen. Even Zee with very few lines is flawless. When Lil Kev slam raps on Dee and all he says is "shiiiit". How can one word be delivered so brilliantly?!
Cricket is one of my favorites. I love how he was just a regular dude (kinda), who was repetitively fucked over by the gang to the point where he gradually degenerated into the person he is today, yet still associates and interacts with them despite his animosity toward them.

Cricket is low key the funniest character in the show. The first time watching it through, in the new episodes, I feel like a kid on Christmas morning whenever Cricket makes an appearance
You should watch this in reverse. It's the heartwarming story of a moldy, burnt, scabby, hopelessly down on his luck homeless person who, through the increasingly lighthearted machinations of his friends, heals spiritually, mentally and physically and finds his true love in God at the end. Excellent feel-good little movie!! 5 stars!!

Why did you not include the most important part in Cricket's downfall? when he attends to the bar to tell Dee he has quit the priesthood for her and she rejects him? that's why his degeneration starts?
The line between being harmfully self-absorbed and just plain evil is as thin as a razor's edge and just as deadly. I would say the gang is most definitely evil and certainly deserve to be locked up or killed for their actions.
Last night he had an extended hallucination where he got his life back together giving up PCP and he dated a woman he met at work, only for him to finally come down and realize that he actually DID smoke PCP to cause this, and realize that the "woman" he dated was really a golden retriever
Finally I am done with this monster project, however it did not work out as planned: youtube would not let me upload all scenes, for some reasons it had a problem with 3 scenes which led to vid being autoblocked. The missing scenes are: Cricket tells Dee that he has left the church to be with her (the gang exploits a miracle), cricket as a general confesses his love to dee (the gang cracks the liberty bell) and the scene where Cricket absolves Psycho Pete from his sins in the toilet stall at Paddys (Psycho Pete Returns). Sorry about that guys!
Its really scary that people in real life do the same thing that Dee does to cricket. So many people have been screwed over by someone that faked their feelings towards them.
I've watched every episode of this show. character development or lack thereof. never seen it done better. the way every character on the show has changed is just hilarious!
The gang is poison to everyone around them. So great to watch. Also really interesting to see frank and cricket cook brownies on an open flame... wonder how that would work.
I love how Mac calls him “ cricks!” Lol this whole show is beyond hilarious there will never be a more funnier show on tv as this show! Blows any other show out of the water including the office and even workaholics and that show was soooo funny back in the day I was so sad when they ended it! And sadly to say always sunny In Philadelphia is on its way out u can tell by how the last season ends it is coming to and end! Once Dennis was notified he has a kid and is going to move where the kid is that’s when u knew it was sadly coming to an end within the next season or so! I heard they were signed up for 14 seasons but now everyone is doing their own little thing!
