This video showcases the visit of Devta Chaturmukh to village Batari, Kotgarh on 17-04-2022. Devta Stayed in the village for a day and returned to Village Mailan on 18-04-2022. Residents of Batari and the surrounding villages come to pay obeisance to Devta Chaturmukh as well as to take the blessings too.
Villagers went to Mailan in the morning hours on 17-04-2022 and brought Chaturmukh Devta Palanquin to Batari by afternoon, on foot. On reaching the village, Devta is greeted by the people. Chaturmukh Devta dances to the tunes of the local pahari band playing traditional musical instruments. Proper pooja is done in the village. And then Chaturmukh Devta goes to its designated place to stay for night. Evening prayer is done there.
Chaturmukh Devta circumnavigate the village on the next day. The band visits every house of the village, where house members welcome the band members in the traditional style. The villagers wear traditional attire. Every musical instrument is paid high respect by offering Teeka, Mouli, Joob. Then house members along with other villagers dance with the traditional tunes played by the band bajantarees.
After that villagers again do traditional pooja in the praise of Chaturmukh Devta.
Community lunch is also served after the pooja.
Chaturmukh Devta went back to its original place in Village Mailan, in the evening hours of 18-04-2022.
It is a very auspicious time for every villager. They all feel blessed to be the part of this occasion and wait for the next year for the next visit of Devta Chaturmukh.
