I’ve learned early in life that you can die from a broken heart if it can cripple you. I know I have…. I lost my sister when I was 5 and she was 2 months and as much as people told me at 5 that I won’t remember and she was only a baby…. My heart never healed and now at 28 and a mother I think the wound gets bigger as the years go on so I can only imagine what the members of AJ’s family felt and how heavy their hearts were as the days went on and as her presence started to become less and less to them,

I went to school with Atatiana's sister-Amber, many years ago. When I found out that Atatiana had passed and knowing she was related to Amber-it definitely hit close to home. When Amber passed, I was utterly devastated...Blessings to the Carr family and RIP to Atatiana, her parents and Amber.

All that dirty cop had to do was announce that the cops was there and im sure Atatiana wouldnt of felt the need to be on high alert. Dean was gun happy and was ready and anxious to kill someone. This is so sad, Daughter gunned down. Father, mother and sister dies of health issues worsened by grief brought on by a trigger happy cop. This makes me question the integrity of the police department hiring process. Do they look for trigger happy cops? Because if I interviewed him and he said yes like he did and adjusted himself in his seat, he wouldn't have been hired.
They definitely are looking for his type on the force. The U.S gestapo are there to continue to suppress Blck people and to protect the wealth and interests of the members of the oligarchy. Even SCOTUS ruled that they do not have to "protect and serve" the public. Once they are fired from one force after being found not guilty or never charged they simply move to another force.

This was just a short time ago but it happened just before covid hit and then all of the chaos began including the many deaths of blacks at the hands of the police. This was already a sad story when she was killed but as I followed her story then the deaths of her family member in such a short span of time, I was heartbroken. He presented so many more details to this story that I had never knew about. As always this piece was well done. This story will forever be etched in my mind. RIP to Atatiana and her family.

The dispatcher logged it in wrong and the cops were idiots because they saw 2 cars in the carport and never got a clue that gee somebody might be home. It was supposed to be a welfare check. As far as calling the neighbors...idk if he was that close to them to have their phone numbers. He lived across the street and not directly, but a little to one side. He said he's lived there 50 years and has watched that block since before there was even a house there.
I live in Fort Worth. I remember speaking to a police officer a couple of days after this happened and he was baffled as to why Aaron Dean would fire his weapon. He was damn near in tears. This is such a sad situation. I could not stop crying about this about the time. Plus hearing about the tragedies the family suffered from. This was heartbreaking.
