I'm 63 years old and was a narcissist. I was delivered from these spirits last October. My mother was a severe narcissist and because of the trauma of growing up in her care evil spirits gained access to me. I was saved in 1991 and because of my walk with the Lord was what you would call a high functioning narcissist. It's to long of a story to share on this platform...the short version is that God in his mercy revealed my condition and I had these spirits cast out. I'm a completely different person today... praise God!😊
Amen!!!! It is only Christ Who can deliver someone from the wickedness of narcissism. It is the natural bent of mankind to be selfish, we have to be taught to be otherwise, however to be delivered from it we must trust in Christ.
Thank you for sharing. 😊 some secular therapists say its not a condition but a personality trait. (Thank goodness!) Also, that its not possible for them to change. What do you mean by your experience? Fyi, I know 2 narcissists that did change, because of failed health (terminal).
I am convinced change is possible with Christ but is rare because the very nature of narcissism is resistant to confessing their sin. If a person with narcissistic traits realizes their sin and makes changes because of the conviction of the Holy Spirit then they can change.

I know because of the fact that I was saved for over thirty years and have the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. I have never been lukewarm from the moment I was saved, I was all in . Studying the word of God pressing into the kingdom. There were behaviors that I fought and hated but had no idea that I was a narcissist...none whatsoever. Not until October of 2023 did I come to have a revelation that I had These spirits living in me provoking the behaviors.
In my experience the narcissists were not traumatized, instead they were praised too much. They were led to believe they were special and expected everyone to treat them special. It made them mean and rude and entitled.
My x was severely traumatized and insecurely attached early on but he was simultaneously over indulged and had no consequences for his actions. He was rewarded for bad behavior. It was very odd to watch!
My cousin was a first of two children, had parents who loved him, had an upper middle class upbringing, has had perfect health, and married into a super rich family. He's a sociopath. I am sure that much of his rage comes from his comparative lack of impressiveness with most of the other men in his circle. Isn't that sad? But it doesn't excuse the complete villain he is.

Satan is the first and greatest narcissist. For anyone who has been through a narcissistic relationship, at least we can now say, as in scripture, "we are not unaware of his schemes", because we have lived through a taste of it. Yes, God told my then husband that he as an actor and a liar. He came home from Bible study and he flatly told me, I didn't say anything, and he just walked off to do a project. He was a minister and never prayed, I mean never. Unless at church. I knew God was telling me that our marriage trouble was not something I could codependently do better to cause him to change... and a few years later I learned about narcissism. It's a good reminder for those of us who have been harmed or continue to be harmed by the narcissist in their life, not to allow a root of bitterness to grow into their hearts! There comes a time in every person's life that they have to choose the person they are going to be in life. It is a grievous thing to witness when God has withdrawn himself from a narcissists life because they choose themselves over all else.
That is where my only adult son is at. He exposed himself in a final letter November last year which I analyzed correctly as a withdrawal of God. Deut 31:17-18 "Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us? And I will surely hide my face in that day for all the evils which they shall have wrought, in that they are turned unto other gods." (including themselves as their own God)

Was married to covert narc for 24 years, finally left with my health and sanity barely intact including diagnosed PTSD. With what I suffered thru - devastating silent treatments, insults and physical assault (I had a restraining order against him at one point) - I will NEVER believe his problem was a post-traumatic stress response. NEVER. His actions were well thought out to purposefully inflict pain. When I finally left he actually said to me, "I can be the husband you deserve." 😐 Post-traumatic stress had nothing to do with who he was. You have to be anointed by Satan himself for his depth of evil.

They love to cross boundaries. It gives them a sick false sense of power, control and security. They love to goad you To see see a negative reaction that they caused. that is the hope of all of us who know these people, with God everything is possible and He has mercy for all who will humble before Him. I stuck it out with a narcissistic family member, for decades. Only after illness brought this person to near death a few times, only then was there a break through. (This person suffered from war as a child). There's always hope!!! I remember hearing this person say "I can't change ". Well, they did.
For what I know, people with complex PTSD have wounds that are easily detected by narcissists. Complex PTSD and narcissism seems to be the two sides of the coin of early attachment trauma.
I am cautious when people call out a narcissistic specifically by saying their relation to them. I know 2 narcissists that call their victims narcissistic. It's the ultimate cover up. They learned all the language on you tube and therapy and weaponized it on their victims. 😢 it is horrible to witness.😢😢

I believe manipulation of someone for self gain is as witchcraft. In my experience it was like they sprinkle some invisible stuff that makes people believe every word out of their mouths, makes people worship them. My narc ex would always go on about her "demon" acting bad. Her "demon" was just her excuse to dodge responsibility for her actions. She was just another spoiled daddy's girl and perpetual victim that liked playing silent treatment phone games. They deserve every second of trauma they have ever suffered

I'm pretty sure I'm a covert narcissist. I wonder if it's possible to change. My whole personality would have to change. All my motives are wrong. And my self-worth is completely based on what others think of me. There's almost no self-worth, and yet there's an extreme high ego, so I hate any criticism or correction. 'cause the way others view me, that's who I see myself. Please pray for me.
Anyone can change by pressing Christ to change you, and capturing and repairing your thoughts. If you are for you to even face it should give great hope

I look innocent and very shy, but I keep everything inside. My rage, my grumbling, my fear, my pride. And the character traits that I should have - I'm faking them: interest in others, gratitude, empathy. I've spoken to some people about it, but they say: 'Well, it's not about feelings'. But they don't understand. I'm not saying I need to have those feelings. But you do have to mean it.

Question that too and if you like planning or setting scenarios to fool others in a twisted way, even if you have nothing to gain just getting satisfaction of other's pain. Intentions have a big role in everythin but even the best people like being cared and admired but they don't play tricks to get them. If you think that the goals justify the means, that's very narcissistic. I say that because we all have an ego and we all can have mean thoughts but we also have a conscious that makes us pull back or repress bad intentions because we know our conscious will make us feel guilty and we won't be able to deal with the remorse. Anyway, dealing with trauma it's tough and so it's life but in order to heal you need to be honest with your psychologist and not play tricks because it won't be of any use; you will be fooling yourself and even the best therapist won't be able to help you. God has definitely called me away from the narcissists in my life! It took some time for me to see these people for who they truly are, but after reading my Bible and doing the research, it all began to make sense. Be aware too, when you know they're a narcissist, they will go against you in a BIG, big way! You don't even have to say anything to them. Those spirits just know. They hate that you know, too. Stay prayed up!
I totally agree that narcissism is a form of/response to complex PTSD, which means they are actually victims. But this victimhood cannot be used to excuse the abuse they perpetrate. And it’s hard to know whether they truly believe in their own perfection or whether it’s just a facade they cling to in order to avoid a total collapse or breakdown.
As far as your conclusion is involved I think of BOTH them being full of self pride and superiority AND wanting to avoid collapse because this would be way too embarassing indeed.
@@Corinna_Schuett_GER Yep. I think their condition is characterised by avoidance. They don't want to confront what they consider to be their damaged selves, and will do anything to avoid that. They don't love themselves at all - they love and admire the mask they've carefully created, but they deeply hate and despise the person it's protecting (the damaged inner self). I always think of there being a very small and frightened person cowering in the corner of a dark room, while a loud and obnoxious version of themselves stands big and bold at the door of that room, making sure no one comes in.

the unforgiveness part is a very interesting characteristic of a Narcissist. They somehow find themselves with upset unforgiveness towards the very ones that points out the Narcissist's offenses of failure. This prevents James 5:16 and 2 Timothy 2:24-26 from being reality; and healing is therefore often impossible. This is a twisted demonic strategy to keep someone in bondage because the very people that can help are villainized from being able to help in the healing process. It takes the divine intervention of God through prayer to break through this.
You pray as God leads. My step-dad was a horrible person. Violent, cruel, narcissistic. I prayed and prayed. He CHANGED. Repented and came to Christ st 75.
In Matthew 18, forgiveness is conditioned on repentance, as I think it must be in human relationships. The imprecatory Psalms are there for a reason. A Christian who has been brutalized has no rights to take vengeance on his abuser, but he has every right to ask God to do so. I can't forgive the unrepentant monster, and don't believe people who say they do. But if the monster genuinely repents, it becomes a Christian's duty to forgive. The problem is that the monsters almost never repent.
What I saw happen is that the kids DID NOT get a lot of criticism or shame....Yet they were encouraged to Shame another child, or one parent with a Demonic Narcissistic parent. They WERE TAUGHT TO DO HARM....Just to please a Narc Parent.

I have been surrounded my whole life with them. Major trauma surrounding all of them growing up that they do their best to keep secret. Even if spirits are involved along with trauma, key is the narcissist has to want change. We can’t make them want change. Pray for them and keep boundaries up.
What if I do not want to pray for the narc husband? He is a covert one. Master in gaslighting, evil, and rageful. He abused me and my two children for 15 years. I pray for my children instead. That they heal from their trauma. Jesus Christ already gave him A LOT of opportunities to change and make the right decisions. But he preferred to choose the demons. - I will leave him in about two years after accumulating enough money for a new start for my kids and me.
You may not have to pray for him yet, if it's not in your heart to do so. Instead, pray for healing of your wounds and for God to help you forgive so YOU won't be in emotional and spiritual bondage. As God heals you, you may be able to sincerely pray for him one day. For me, I had to be healed before I could see the narc from a different light. I began to see how pathetic their life is and was able to pray that God would give them a chance to repent, so their soul could be saved. Sometimes that's the best you can do.
Well, if that's true, unless he actually changes them, he's not a very nice god, is he? Willingly and knowingly creating some people for evil and possibly for (eternal?) destruction does not seem to me to be a good and loving thing to do ... at least that's how I see it.

Yes definitely When Shen changed you could see a truly new look. She had beautiful eyes white vein free eyes, When I noticed the change in her eyes. They changed to extremely blood shot, no more sweet smile and a stare off in space constantly.
Don't forget its common misconception that narcissist HAVE to be good looking. It's really because the good looking ones get away with and ahead more in life. Everyone praises and enables good looks. That's why.

I love the flies and bugs analogy. Since turning to the Lord, I’ve noticed hardly any bugs, or flies touch me anymore, I swear they are ALL dark spirits (demons) while all other creatures are spirits of the light. I don’t know if you, or anyone else would believe me but I saw a donkey recently on a walk with thousands of flies on this poor innocent creature. I started yelling “Away, away in the name of Jesus Christ” the donkey shrugged and literally sent the flies off its body. I should have recorded it. I had only child by a evil demonic narcissist who has my life a nightmare with his evil way's. No contact and boundaries because they will use everything you say and do against you.
I do believe that God can deliver anyone one who is willing to be free. However, once a person is delivered from demonic possession, it is there responsiblity to renew their minds and determined to change their destructive behavior. Unfortunately, so many narcissists stick to there old ways subtly since that's how their brain functions their whole lives. They usually change themselves from overt to covert narcissists. So, it is always best to stay no contact until you evidently proof that the person has changed. ( I am speaking from my personal experience.)

I been the scapegoat of a narcissistic abusive family structure.From my father as well as my mother and my older sister could do no wrong I can do no right she had everything and I could do enough to help .There was physically abuse from my mother and father .This woman like me turn to Jesus and if anyone is going through what this woman is saying turn your life to JESUS she is 100 percent right .

Help! My wife is incredibly cruel. We have a 7yr old daughter, precious sweetheart. Her mother told her yesterday "if you don't take vitamin, your not having a birthday party" my daughter started crying. I stepped in and told my little girl she's having a birthday party no matter what. I told my wife I'm going to end up leaving, she then shot cruel remarks to me (in front of my kid), "what are you going to do, shack up with your brothers wife? My brother passed away in February. What a cruel divisive hostile human being, but wait it gets better, she claims to be Christian. What pastor, or Christian marriage and family counselor can help me protect my child? It's killing me.
