Jamal Murray made the game-winning jumper as time expired in regulation to lift the Denver Nuggets over the Los Angeles Lakers, 101-99. Nikola Jokic recorded 27 points, 20 rebounds, and 10 assists for the Nuggets, while Jamal Murray added 20 points (14 in the 4th quarter) and 5 assists in the victory. Anthony Davis tallied 32 points and 11 rebounds for the Lakers in the losing effort. The Nuggets lead the best-of-seven series, 2-0, with Game 3 taking place on Thursday April 25, 10:00 PM ET, TNT/Tru TV.
Nikola Jokic has tied Wilt Chamberlain (4) for the most games of 20+ points, 20+ rebounds, and 10+ assists in NBA Playoff history

Spurs are the west, thats why it was between them or lakers, those were the finals 2000-2010 only 3 champions out of san antonio or los angeles , this nuggets team are better than all the west but is the west and you can't rely for a quarter, but celtics seems to be the greatest match up

You can see the difference between these teams when it comes to 4th quarter execution on offense. The Lakers offense turned into LeBron isolation over and over while Jokic and the Nuggets stayed patient and made enough plays to keep the score within a couple of possessions before Murray found his stroke and closed it out for them.

Jokic, Murray and Gordon can just consistently get tot the rim at will, whether it be on the drive, pass, post, or offensive glass That's how the Nuggets weathered the really, really poor outside shooting (minus MPJ) and came out with the W. No other team in the league could do what the Nuggets did (I believe) with the way they shot from outside. Special.

I was thinking how right Lebron was when he was discussing on the podcast with Reddick about defensive mistakes causing a player to see the ball go through the hoop and get a rhythm going in a game which impacts the series.
