I love this! There is something so special about hunting Elk. You could have everything going wrong in your life; cancer, loss of a loved one, family struggles, and yet the second your boots hit the ground that all drifts away. For a moment you have a reprieve. Thank you for making these films for us to live vicariously through and escape for a minute.
The camaraderie and teamwork is what gets me. I dream of hunts like this and I’ve only been bow hunting whitetails in Pennsylvania. These sorts of videos get me psyched for that one possible day. Love it!
As an east coast deer hunter, I grew up in the mountains of Virginia. We had just under 100 acres and I never had to go far to shoot a deer. Normally I went back to house and got the tractor to carry my kill home. You people are plum crazy.
Yeah hunting is a lot different to us out here. Put my first bull on my back last weekend. Was happy I had some friends available near by or I would have been packing it out all night
As an avid elk hunter that enjoys the journey, the tracking, the chess game between man and elk, the fun with friends and family, and just being in beautiful nature is the whole reason for hunting. This is a great video that brings back all the memories I've had and will continue to have as long as I'm able, thanks!!
Weather, the greatest equalizer in history. The most seasoned humans adept in their own environment will forever be challenged by Mother Nature and her pleasures. I love hunting after a few challenging days where the weather is rough and your ability to glass is limited. Great adventure, love the film.

Always laugh when I see a video of the Blues, living here I am always trying to figure out what unit it is. Then seeing a landmark I recognize and you guys not saying what it is. I extremely respect. Always takes me back to my grandpa and uncles saying, it was off of tell no one ridge. Love your videos and Thank You!

Great hunt and great bull! Tough conditions , but you got it done. Can't put a price on friends who helped you out. Some rugged country there, not sure I could handle that. On a side note Dirk should probably get a raise!
Nothing better than being in God's great outdoors with friends in such beautiful rugged country. Just being there standing on top those mountains taking in all the awesome scenery, and taking such a huge majestic bull. Wow that must've been an awesome trip!
Booked a trip for next September for our first trip out west. Bought a new rifle that I topped with a VX-6HD. Can’t wait to experience what I have read about and dreamed about since I was a young boy.
Hunting Elk is something I've never done but always had the dream to do. This depiction of the path to success with all the highs and lows, just drives my dream closer to reality someday. All of the unwavering determination you all have and to work that hard as a team is nothing short of remarkable. Congrats on an awesome bull. (no ill will meant, and I'm sure the highest end and accurate, but may not hurt to have a rifle with ammo capable of feeding from a magazine unless it has to do with the law) ✌

I loved this video of your elk hunt. And congrats on your beautiful bull, he`s a real trophy. My one comment is it should be a little longer. Maybe show more at camp cooking dinner and the comradery in camp, while setting the game plan for the next days hunt, etc. And let us get to know everyone in camp Dale

Great job Jason. You have some great friends and definitely earned that one. I have killed a couple bulls in similar terrain in NE Oregon. They always feel a little more special because of how hard they make you work to get them. Great job to the team filming and editing as well.
That is steep! Always helps to have a buddy willing to dive down after the elk. Hard to convince yourself, but a little peer pressure usually does the trick. Nice bull, nice hunt!

Really enjoyed this. It’s tough for a father/husband to make it to the elk woods every year on an average salary. Not to mention the added stress of being gone for an extended time. My brother and I go as far to split a tag when we go to save cost just to get out there as much as possible. These videos really get me pumped up and keep me pushing.
I absolutely dream of hunting on the mountain like that everything I am not hunting. The scenery is simply magnificent. To think, most Americans never even see a landscape as beautiful as that. I'm glad I was raised in the wild and taught to respect it. Every time I see videos like yours, it takes me there, and the rest of the world fades out, leaving me and Mother Nature. Thank you for bringing me along in your journey of a lifetime. I look forward to the next one.
