I don’t think either one of them are the “ bad guy” it’s just two ppl that wanted different things. He’s more conservative and wanted her to be something she isn’t and she wanted him to be more open and match her personality and he couldn’t. The bottom line is you are who you are and even loving someone can’t change that. I am disappointed that a lot of false information is being said after this song.. She went through some rough stuff w/ her dad too n then Liam acting like her dad, they needed counseling ( young, learning, growing, maturing) also it’s not all of Miley’s fault the relationship is over sadly! Then they came back together and then their house burned out and she says she only had him left and that’s when they decided to get married but they still had issues and then finally broke up again did slide away but their have been other songs. In Bangerz album the song FU is about guy cheating but if you start the album from the 1st track it starts out happy and then it leads to the sad breakup songs like Someone else. With them I see that she was with him for so long but outgrew the relationship and they maybe didn’t want to let go because you are used to it and to let it go would change your daily life and it’s scary to try to start something new without someone or something that you are used to having.
