Recently the creator of Silver Falls announced that the silver Falls series will be going on hiatus so the developer can keep his studio open. This is my response to that.
It would be a challenge, but I think he could definitely do it, and at one point, he told me he was planning to do it at some point. But clearly that has changed.
I watched the announcement yesterday and while it is disappointing I can see why the series is going on hiatus. I have played some of the Silver Falls games and my favorite is Ghoul Busters. I am looking forward to the videos that you will be making about these games.
Yeah, it’s a bummer. I’m looking forward to talking about these games more. I know videos on these games don’t do great, but I just don’t care, it’s worth it to me. I wanna see more people experience these games.
I started playing Ghoul Busters after hearing you talk about Sungrand a couple months ago. Really enjoying that one, and you're right, the types of games are all over the place but the loose continuity is super interesting. Hope they can figure it out and keep moving forward.
It's tough out there. The past 4 years really warped our perception of time and now that is pretty much over it's kind of a culture shock. I hope he takes the time to reflect and re-prioritize his time and maybe make a comeback stronger than ever!
It really is such a competitive field and Just gets more competitive every day. I’m glad he’s prioritizing he feels will make money and keep the studio open. At the same time, I have such a mixed feelings because Silver Falls is what I know him for . At the same time I totally understand, he’s gotta keep the lights on.
@@PKInTheUniverse see that could be one of the issues, Steam is the largest game platform so if he didn’t release his games there it could have been more successful
