I love that the jumpscares aren't just screamy nonsense, they're very quiet and give a sense of dread over just being "BLAAAAAAAH!!! gotcha!"

Now, the next game should be a direct sequel to Exit 8 where the player is now in the street trying to get home. Perhaps an anomaly on the bus stop or something, hehe

The Ending of Platform 8 into Exit 8 looks absolutely cinematic!!!!

Imagine Platform 8 would detect the presence of Exit 8 on your computer and seamlessly switch the game without ever letting on and you ended up playing them back to back because it switched without showing you lmao

What makes it scarier and life-like is those advertisements are the same ones on actual trains in Japan. I’m gonna get traumatized from going on trains if this shit happens to me😂

Fun fact, the station names are actually word play on numbers in Japanese, for example: Ichigasaki - 1-gasaki Sanza - 3-za Hachiban - 8-ban

Never played/watched this type of game. This definitely was an amazing experience. The game looked gorgeous and the anomalies were great. This instantly became one of my fav horror game! Definitely gonna checkout the whole stream for the Exit 8 game.

The event where you have to click on a door a specified number of times seems to be where most players get stuck. The corridor at Exit 8 appears to be modeled after the corridor leading to Exits 1 and 2 at Jujo Station on the Kyoto subway.

This kind of loop-with-weird-stuff-happening was peaked by Hideo Kojima in P.T. that never became full title. This is bit more subtle, but it borrows heavily from Kojima's gameplay quirks.

Im uncertain if you have played this game, it is called Stairway 7! It has the same themes of Exit 8 games where you gotta go either up or down depending on if there is an anomaly. What I like about this game is that if you choose the wrong answer, you get punished and can die.
