I read in Mary Agreda's 'The Mystical City of God' that Mary, when given the option to die or directly go to heaven, chose to die to follow Jesus, God elevates her to her leadership role but she continues to humble herself to Him, it's why He has full confidence and satisfaction with her, His masterpiece, because she never ceases to acknowledge and praise Him, she is the perfect human, His treasure. Jesus and Her are the perfect road maps to what is pleasing to Him.

The Blessed Mother would have died at least three times: Simione prophecy. The finding of Jesus in the Temple after three days of searching; and at the foot of the cross, where she absorbed the full impact of the lance that pierced the heart of her Son, simultaneously piercing her heart. Kept alive by the decree of the Eternal Father. For me the Blessed Mother, when the time arrived to leave the world decreed by the Eternal Father, lapsed into seas and seas of ecstasy. Jesus, with the whole of paradise came to receive her body and soul, carried on the wings of angels to the bosom of the Eternal Father. The Blessed Mother lived and breathed the Divine Will and did nothing outside the Will of her Son.

Praise God that she did, because her specialist down the track said to her: Anna, I don't know what prompted you to change your mind concerning the operation, but thank God that you did, because when we investigated further with your cancer, because of your age, you would have endured immense suffering. John Calvin, the theological father of much of Presbyterian and Reformed doctrines did not do a commentary on Revelation (he questioned its canonicity just as Luther quested James) However Francois Lambert (A.D. 1528) a Calvinist and Heinrich Bullinger, the Swiss Reformer who was a pupil of Zwingli in their Commentaries on Revelation 12: 1-5 both say Mary as the Woman in Heaven. Leo Jud, also a Swiss Reformed theologian did as well. Other 16th century Protestants saw Mary as the Woman in Revelation 12 include David Chyträus, a German Lutheran from the mid to late 1500's and Jean Gagny (Famous German Lutheran Reformer from the Mid to late 1500s), Explicatio Apoc. So that is the first thing our Mother Mary did during her earthly life. She was the first guidance, she was the first Mother that Divine, she was the first teacher, she was the first nun, she was the.first martyr, she was the first Lover of Christ, she was the first doctor and nurse of Jesus!!! She was the first of everything!!!!! She was the first that Christ resurrected.and assumed to heaven!!! She is the only Queen of eternal heaven!!!
@nathanmullins9203 You have no idea what you are talking about. The bible is a Catholic book. The Apostles are all Catholic. I suggest you repent, and perhaps the demon(s) will leave you.
There is a detailed story of Mary's passing in the Poem of the Man-God. She is with John the Apostle and knows Her time has come. He is reading scripture and praying with Her and She stops breathing. John tries to stay awake but on the third day he falls asleep and is only awakened in time to see Her being assumed into Heaven by angels through a hole they had made in the roof. The palm branches John had put around Her fell as the angels lifted Her up to Heaven where John saw Her embrace Jesus. The room smelled strongly of roses. Jesus explained that only Her spirit had left Her and that She didn't die like all the rest of die as Her soul did not leave Her Body. The Truth is Mary never had a tomb, She was not buried, but was assumed into heaven by the angels where She was crowned Queen of Heaven and earth and still prays for us Her children that Jesus gave to Her from His Cross. Thanks be to God. I love You, Mother Mary, please love Your Son with me and within my heart with Papa God for me especially at the Holy sacrifice of the Mass. Amen!!!

Our Lord left us the office of the Pope as our guide and in cases of the magisterium he is infallible. This book was condemned before Vatican II and at a time when the hierarchy of the Church was much more solid than perhaps it is today. Keep on reading books on the Index of Forbidden Books and following Unapproved Apparitions. But do realize that this book is condemned by Pope John XXIII and printed anyway. Those who decide to do whatever they want and not follow the clear direction of the Church will need to account for this before the Holy Trinity at the Final Judgment. @@patriciaw4270 The focus of the New Testament is on Jesus Christ, but you can believe that the early Church and especially St. John took great care of the Virgin Mary because JESUS asked him to.
There is a theological thesis that states that the Blessed Virgin didn't physically die, at the end of her earthly life, because she mystically died at the foot of the Cross on Calvary, by uniting her moral sufferings with her Son's death. She was therefore assumed into Heaven without physically dying. Interestingly, Pope Pius XII, when defining the dogma of Our Lady's Assomption into Heaven, makes no mention whatsoever of her alleged death. This was because a young beneficiary of apparitions of Our Lady (Gilles Bouhours from France) was told by Her that She had not physically died, and this young boy was commissioned by Her to pass it on to Pius XII, who struck out any allusion to Her death in his Apostolic Constitution concerning the dogma.
Hello. We are the Heralds of the Gospel, a Catholic International Association of Pontifical Right, first approved by Pope St. John Paul II. You can learn more about us here: reconquest.heralds.org/about-us/
Our Lady died in a small house in the garden of Gethsemane that had been given to Her and St John by Lazarus . There was no tomb and after 3 days John, being tired , woke up just in time to witness her Assumption. Just read the last few chapters of " The Poem of the Man-God" by Maria Valtorta.
As the papal encyclical; MUNIFICENTISSIMUS DEUS - Pope Pius XII explains She didn't suffered the corruption of death, meaning the virgin Mary's body didn't deteriorated unlike the rest of us human beings, similarly as her son our Lord Jesus Christ body didn't deteriorated, our Lady's body similarly, on the third day similar as her son she was assumption into heaven, Why? She had to experience the resurrection as her son did, this is what what the Pope mentioned thst the Virgin Mary had a temporal death, the byzantines call this 3 day dormition of the Teothokos (in greek this word means the Mother of God) Our Lord Jesus Christ raised her. In Byzantine iconography our Lord takes her soul into heaven. In Roman tradition angels take her body to heaven. She is alive body and soul into heaven, God Ressurected her on the third day. That is Byzantine and Roman tradition. Both we Catholics and Eastern orthodox agree in this subject.
I'm perplexed because my Catholic school has taught she went up body and soul to heaven because she was uncorrupt. I haven't been to school coming up on 20 years now but that's what they were teaching just 20 years ago. Her death is news to me.
@ericks.peters3695 well that would make her Jesus. An uncorrupt person dieing when they do not deserve death as they are void of sin which is the very cause of death. Then resurrecting and rising up into heaven...yeah that's Jesus.
@@seansean7643Yes. The immaculate conception they teach would liken her to the same divine conception as Jesus Christ and make her divine, when she was a miracle conception like Elizabeth and Sarah in the OT in their old age. It was a miracle and not divine as they teach. So that elevates her to a goddess by their doctrine. I don't see a prophecy written of her divine conception, but I did of her miracle conception in her parents old age. They teach this because they need her to be already clean to carry Jesus Christ, even though He purified her the moment she conceived. The dogma of immaculate conception is like an extra hedge of protection like the Talmud that was written to make sure she was worthy. She was chosen by bloodline. She was made worthy because Jesus Christ made her worthy. It isn't because she was divine already before she conceived Jesus Christ being immaculately conceived by Anna getting pregnant when her husband kissed her cheek after the angel gave both of them the good news they will conceive her in their old age.
And yes, to what you say by their description of her resurrection like Jesus Christ. They do not believe she was conceived in sin by natural means like everyone else, so they teach of her never dying too. Enoch didn't die nor Elijah, so maybe... Or maybe she died and she was taken up after, maybe. But their dogma of Mary's "immaculate" conception is just another way she was conceived in the same way as Jesus Christ and that would make her a goddess. A kiss on the cheek by a man doesn't make a woman pregnant who is already married and has received a message from an angel that they would get pregnant in their old age. The husband and wife naturally would make it happen after the announcement of the angel like Elizabeth and Sarah did in their old ages. The case for Mary getting pregnant who was not yet married to Joseph when she conceived was before Joseph took her in. The Holy Spirit entered her and she became pregnant like a miracle divine conception. This is different from Mary's parents.

What does the Church teaches about the dogma of the Assumption? Whether that she die is just a speculation. At least the is another person whom the scripture didn’t say he died but was taken up too and that was Elijah. So I don’t know why people are afraid to say together with the Church that, “At the end of her early life She was taken up to heaven ..”
I think she died, just like her Joseph did, confident in eternal life and welcomed into heaven by the angels reciting the Hail Mary prayer to her amazement and joy.

Born sinless, mother of God, queen of heaven, perpetual virgin, appears to tell of of the future, her states cry, we pray to her. We devote ourselves to her, all graces come through her, we light candles and kiss her statues' feet. She isn't God though.
She is not God, but she is the pre-eminent disciple of Jesus who pointed to him her whole life. She is different from all other creatures because she cooperated with God's plan for salvation. Did you nurse baby Jesus? Did you contribute your flesh and blood and DNA to Jesus? Did you teach him how to pray? Did you nurse him through illness? The Blessed Virgin Mary deserves reverence. Reverence is respect. Worship means to offer sacrifice to a deity. Protestants cannot understand this because they don't have the sacrifice of the Mass.
I have question ? According to Catholic church , Mary is born without Sin ? I believe that anyone born without Sin , it is impossible to die ? How she can die , when She couldn't die , because of her perfectness and She is born to be full of grace ? Her dead must be mystical?
In Genesis it was about Jesus, the seed of the woman. The woman would know no man and conceive Him divinely. The conception of Him purified her when she got pregnant, not before.
1 Timothy 2:15 in the Bible states, "Yet she [the woman] will be saved through childbearing - if they continue in faith and love and holiness, with self-control".
@@luvpamelanewton By stating that, you assume that Jesus Christ failed to establish His Church. We know from Revelation 11:19 - 12:1 that the Virgin Mary is not a disembodied soul in heaven, as are all other souls in heaven who are awaiting the resurrection of the body on the Last Day. From the many interactions with Protestants, it's apparent that chastity is not a virtue they understand despite the fact that Jesus and Paul endorsed it. Do you fast? If so ,why? Self denial and self sacrifice are elemental to devotion and spiritual communion is the answer.
