Netflix New comedy movie and tv series The Devil transforms into Santa after Santa Claus do ritual to him. The Devil got fat after forced to eat milk and cookies. #Netflix #CupheadShow #Mugman
I truly believe this is a reference to "An American Werewolf in London", but with such a funny twist. Though I think it should've copied the transformation scene from "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", I'm still OK with that.
That’s really clever! Having the devil stuck with the job of Santa is an obvious shout out to that old classic European folk legend of Krampus The Christmas Devil occasionally known by his much more ominous nickname “The Shadow of Saint Nicholas” a folklore proving that even Christmas... has a dark side. 😈 I should also mention that according to the legend, Krampus is big and furry with razor sharp teeth, cruel claws on his fingers, huge horns on his head and in some versions of the story is depicted as dressing like an evil, hellish, demonic version of Santa. So that’s probably why someone obviously made the connection with the Krampus legend and the way the Cuphead devil is dressed as Santa is an almost near perfect spitting image cartoon depiction of how Krampus would look like in a cartoon like this.
@@WitchKing-Of-Angmar Yeah, definitely a big difference between an R rated transformation scene and something in a kids show, one you're kind of expecting and then other throws you for a loop when it happens.
@@vincentbrito6233 Krampus The Christmas Devil, in old European Christmas folklore I guess you could say he’s sort of like Santa’s dark side or the Anti-Santa if you will. He sometimes is even referred to as “The Shadow of Saint Nicholas” Where Santa comes to reward, Krampus comes to punish, where Santa comes to give, Krampus comes to take, where Santa is kind, Krampus is cruel. Basically just as it is Santa’s job to reward the good little boys and girls for being kind, generous and unselfish, Krampus’s job on the other hand (or should I say on the other claw?😈) is to punish the mean, selfish, naughty children and give them exactly what they deserve and believe me, in the folktales about Krampus, by the time he’s through with them, the bad children will be begging for no presents and coal in their stockings because that’s getting off easy compared to what nightmarish unspeakable horrors Krampus has planned for them every Christmas Eve until they finally learn the error of their ways. That’s basically the folk legend of Krampus The Christmas Devil in a nutshell. I should also mention that Krampus is big and furry with razor sharp teeth, cruel claws on his fingers, huge horns on his head and and in some versions of the story is depicted as dressing like an evil, hellish, demonic version of Santa. So that’s probably why someone obviously made the connection with the Krampus legend and the way the Cuphead devil is dressed as Santa is an almost near perfect spitting image cartoon depiction of how Krampus would look like in a cartoon like this.
Just now realizing that being Santa would actually be a horrifying punishment. You're trapped in a neverending night until you deliver presents to a billion children. You'd be delivering gifts for at least a thousand years.
2:05 I just realized after 3 seasons of this show that the reason why this guy’s voice is so monotone is because his performance was literally “phoned-in.” I’m fucking dying
The Devil: I haven't been this angry since the very first Christmas! Henchman: Or the very first Easter... The Devil: THANK YOU, HENCHMAN! Merry Christmas, everybody!
Did anyone notice? Chad and Jared's name was written on the nice list. It's at 2:21, look carefully. If you don't see it play it at 2:20, put it at 0.25x playback and pause it immediately.
Despite being the Devil, I think the poor guy more than EARNED his Choo-choo with the cookies/milk alone!! Santa was the jerk in this case, for not keeping his end of the deal!
The Devil looks great as Santa Clause and Henchman as the Reindeer. But, it was cute and funny having to deliver all the presents and have cookies and milk. 🎅🏻
The Devil-The Grinch Henchman-Max the dog The reindeers flew away all because of the Devil raging. Did that stop the old Devil? No! The Devil simply said, "If I can't find a reindeer, I'll make one instead!" Henchman: "What?" The Devil uses Henchman as a reindeer to lift up the sleigh. Then the Devil said, "Giddap!" And the sleigh started to fly. Toward the homes of Inkwell Isles who lay a snooze in their town. The Devil: "I am a genius." All their windows were dark, quite snow filled the air. All the citizens were all dreaming sweet dreams without care. When he came to the first little house on the square. "This is stop number one," the old Devil Claus hissed. Henchman: "Oh boss, you're gonna make so many kids happy tonight." And he climbed on the roof, and dropped the presents down the chimney. Then he slid down the chimney. A rather tight pinch. But, if Santa could do it, then so could the Devil. He got stuck only once, for a moment or two. Then Henchman gave the Devil his pitchfork. The Devil: "Thank you Henchman. (Then teleports with his pitchfork.)" Then he slithered and slunk, with a smile most pleasant, around the whole room, and he put the presents under the tree. The Devil: "Henchman, Onward!" Henchman: "Eeeeee!" Then, he did the same thing to the other citizens' houses, leaving crumbs, much too small, for Werner Werman. Werner Werman: "Oh, crumbs. (Then, eats the crumbs.)" The Devil gets tortured through several ways (tangled up and electrocuted by Christmas lights, stabbed by icicles, mauled by dogs and getting sick after eating and drinking too much cookies and milk respectively, as he sobs).
Y'know if the devil really wanted a choo choo so badly, he could've stole it with his powers instead of turning into Kris Kringle, and breaking every damn bone in his body to get on the nice list
Honestly...this would totally look like a seasonal punishment for the devil: the only time you can get out of hell its to pass as an old saint, give gifts to children yet you cant directly punish then or harm for being bad kids, and being force feed with a worlds worth of sweets in just one night. All while you having only around 8 hours to do everything. I don't even want to imagine what could be so bad to persuade you yo do this instead of failing or refusing, if its forced at all.
2:33 I feel Bad for Santa Devil, Then Again I Can’t with the Way he Looks. But it Seriously Makes me Reconsider my Eating Habits. I do NOT want to Look like Santa Devil 😂 Also there could have been a Really Good Idea to Where Santa Devil could have Saved all of the Cookies and then he would Have given them to his Little Demon Minions instead of eating them All
The santa was an ass and technically didn't fill his promise to the Devil. Which means the devil doing all this without any payment (let's be honest the "happiness" he mentioned aint a payment) And Henchman of course saved the day once again for his boss. He was better than the santa despite him being demon
santa is an evil person and is doing his job as a punishment just like the Devil but unlike the Devil he failed the test and is trapped forever and he was hoping for the Devil to become his successor
Everyone: Oh damn, that transformation was terrific, poor Devil. Me: Well now, electrocuting the Devil is tradition now in this show. :D 1st Season: Electrocuted by Inepeneretable Invisible Sweater. 2nd Season: Electrocuted by his own Pitchfork (which been used by Cuphead) 3rd Season: Electrocuted by christmas garland (in Santa's form).
The Devil looks more like Krampus with his horns sticking out! I even recognize the kittens from the classic Mickey Mouse cartoon, " Mickey's Good Deed" where Mickey dresses as Santa to give toys to them since they were so poor! MERRY CHRISTMAS 2022!!! 🎄🎅❤💚
He would if he could but it’s a Santa rule ^^’ all cookies and milk must be consumed… granted it didn’t say by whom but I don’t think he would want to gamble that for his choo choo and being stuck as Santa forever
Even if he wanted to, he couldn’t. According to Stickler Elf, he’s _required_ to consume all cookies and milk left out for him. So he technically can’t throw out or give them away.
I loved this transformation sequence, this and the youtube short Ho-Ho-Howling definitely feel like they were inspired by Disney's the Santa Claus and did a horror take on it.
This is literally the premise of The Santa Clause (1994) where someone physically and mentally morphs into Santa against their will and have their original self subsumed by the Santa identity. Santa is an alien symbiote. The entire concept is body horror.
@@anthonycrazynessadventures3259 Other than eating a lot of milk and cookies, it be a terrifying curse. Having to deliver gifts in an endless night through houses.
1:50 god I like this episode but I feel so bad for the devil he really doesn't deserve this torment who in the writing team thought this would be funny
That poor Devil! He is my favourite character of all! He is so lovely when he deliver all of the gifts for the people. I hope he got his gift too. ❤ (I got a Devil plush for x-mas ^_^)
This shows that the devil we know was once Optimistic, clever and can't stop smiling chop to just him but being feel like loser when his things doesn't go well and being hurt a lot like a trope "Butted Monkey"
