Chris and Mike of The Devil Wears Prada sit down with FUSE to talk about unruly fans, the band's Zombie Slay mobile app, the global Dead Throne tour, their new band logo, and the importance or lyric sheets for (and TO) the band.
there's alot of people that might not like this band. and they're not my absolute favorite, but i gotta give it to Mike for being a brilliant lyricist.
The band started in 2005, the movie was released 2006.. they named themselves after the book. But they used their own interpretation of the book as in The Devil wears Prada, material things.
@GNRKDU He says "We have an 8 foot one that we have on tour with us, and you know, some loaders, carrying it in go "Three upside-down crosses, man: sick!!" He's talking about a big banner, and how stagehands at different venues mistook it as a satanic symbol. Funny, right?!
ive never been into any of the hardcore styled bands. but TDWP has always stood out to me. theyre not like asking alexandria and all that other bullsh*t stuff. there more talented musicaly. plus they are WAY more metal!
They named themselves before the movie was released. Also, your point about changing the word "Prada" to "D&G" is kind of strange as anyone can change the name of any band name to themselves (obviously). It's their band name man, I mean it's not like they'll change it.
Please fellas, help me,i'm learning english,i didn't understand what mike said at this part from 3:17 to 3:27...from We...To...Sick.... Please help me ..haha!Thanks
no they didnt name themselves before that movie was released...they actually did it after...also, change your avi (unless you're a roleplayer, which i doubt you really are) if you ever want to be taken seriously.
I always thought the logo was the three crosses of when Jesus was crucified, you know Jesus in the middle and the two criminals beside him on both sides, as the story goes. With the whole Christianity thing going with TDWP I thought that was the REAL explination of the logo, but whatever lol.
They named themselves after seeing the movie because it represents the superficial and materialistic nature of man and its also kinda funny because its so random. What straight guy says "oh my god"... silly Italian flamers.
