You have to wear the clouds ghillie so they can't see you. I encountered someone using this glitch last night and tbh it's not hard to counter so in my book it's good clean fun that makes Battlefield more hilarious and will inevitably be patched. I imagine I will fire up the game and give this a try tonight.

The only thing better than what he is already doing is going to a hardcore server on portal where it doesn't show where you were killed from. If you do that with a sniper using a heavy suppressor and subsonic rounds (and an ammo crate), you can get SO MANY kills without them finding you. I was going on like 60 kill streaks with a sniper and I'm not even good at sniping XD. Most of the hardcore servers are a one hit kill from any range even with the weaker damage

You're doing it wrong by getting kills while up there, anyone with half a brain will immediately try to counter snipe once they die to you and see exactly where you are via the death cam. The trick is to go up and rack up spot assist XP with soflam, and lock enemy vehicles for your team to destroy. That way you're actually useful to the team, and you get a good, technically-legal source of XP 😂

Found another one involving a ladder, so far only managed it on Orbital on one specific ladder, where you can just walk/run up in the air any direction you want almost like noclip (but you will slowly keep going higher even if you stop moving) only way to drop is to pull parachute, still trying to recreate it reliably but I've done it twice so far

BF3 "feature" is back yay!

The devs actually fixed it in Battlefield 3, then it came back in BF4 and had to be fixed, then apparently it came back in 2042 because the devs seem to rewrite the entire game from scratch without any input from previous games, and have the institutional memory of a slug. It is entirely possible that the developers never think about this during writing the game, and nobody in the playtest does it (assuming DICE actually playlists anything instead of waiting for launch when they have the customers playtest their game for them). It is also possible that this and other glitches/exploits are intentional and a favorite for DICE devs to use so they don't fix it until too many players discover it.

I'm glad they didn't fix this yet because this video was quite fun to watch. Ok let me try this now lol

Are you playing on hardcore servers somewhere? I can never find any… and standard servers let players tank 30mm AA rounds to the skull multiple times. C5 is lucky to kill 1 player point blank, let alone 6

this was a cool thing in bf2 and they removed it... i call this a 'only in battlefield moment' we need this type of stupid things in games to have fun tho... its not that game breaking imo. I REALLY hope dice doesn't patch this because its super easy to counter all they got to do is either destroy the drone or just shoot you and after killing maybe 2 or 3 people they notice, and they just start shooting you it's not hard at all and is all just classic bf fun to see this tbh if I got killed by a guy doing this id laugh and let him have his fun and not shoot him down *also fun trick I want to tell u guys on kaleidoscope if u play breakthrough and are on the attacking side the really tall building to the left has a corner piece of the roof that is in bounds u can do this trick and fly to the roof and stand on it and snipe down allowing u too to have cover and snipe from a crazy place lol have fun. I did it and had an entire team try and kill me but they couldn't had a beacon up there and had a full squad join me also it was funny

BF2042 devs couldnt code their way out of a wet paperbag in a PRE-SORTED list data structure.

In BF3/4 they eventually took it away and made areas that were not supposed to be reached out of bounds on the map. I doubt the current DICE has the knowledge of how to do either.

You should use this exploit along with the Exposure out of bounds one, maybe then the out of bounds will finally get fixed :)

Use the m16's grenade launcher, it's the only OP thing about the gun. It has a larger kill radius.

This was worse on servers in portal without the death cam simply as you were unfindable if you stuck near sky boxes
