I have played siege since launch, i can remember watching teo's briefcases moments, playing with acog smg11, it was so simple back in the day. everybody played slower and maps felt big. Today is christmas and i've decided, since i have some free time to come back to this game, only for a few rounds tho. what i have seen shocked me.. all the good and bad maps have been changed into something that looks more like a plain stupid football court, no jokes... big spaces, no angles for good peeking, everything "balanced". Operators either have no damage, or a recoil that while peeking down decorates the roof. Back in the day i was an average player, i was playing with just 1 friend on ranked sometimes, managed to hit high plat... yet here i am few years later unable to kill anyone in casual, despite my knowledge in siege. I am no pro but when i do flank it is supposed to be a flank, and ubisoft completely nerfed tactical game, nowadays it's all about rushing into objective, this feels like CoD. Game should have never received more mechanic updates after red crow in my opinion. Even a fuckin blackbeard was fun because u had to think to kill him. Ubi tried to make perfection but the truth is that imperfections make something unique and fun, i literally miss all those glitches and exploits we have made during that time. it was creative, fun and entertaining. Siege succeeded because it had constant updates with new operators from each country, it got exciting to wait for your own country to have some and yet even that got fucked up by the devs somehow. I guess it's time to go back to the good ol' battlefield 4. Goodbye Siege.

I remember watching this video in high school when it came out and I got inspired to climb the ranked ladder the same night. I slapped the acog on bandits gun and sweated all night to only develop skill I no longer possess at the game 😂
