In some countries, they think using protection is like eating sweets with the wrappers on. Weird logic but true, none the less. Worse still some think dying from that illness is more to do with poverty, so they relax and the numbers go up again. In the countries where they have been successful, they have tight measures in place to make people street smart about the problem.

I think it's because when you're around the same people alot, you start to act like/ sound like them. Like if you move to Mexico, you'll start speaking Spanish sooner or later by hearing it so much.

What she wears has nothing do with AIDS in Africa. The problem is poverty, the fact that women are oppressed in Africa, and crazy ass African governments that deny the existence of AIDS. Think this virus would end if we viewed it practically (which is that it's a human disease) versus stigmatizing kelly Rowland and others over how they express their sexuality. You're entitled to your opinion but the stigma and the blaming isn't helping the problem.

Furthermore, if you throw in African cultural norms like the importance of marriage and having kids, and that men are allowed and expected to be hypersexual...AIDS in Africa becomes a very complicated problem. I'm not trying not to talk at you, rather showing you how singing gospel music probably wouldn't help much. We kinda need to let God die a bit in order to deal with real people and real problems
