I agree with the cheat meal take, Cheat meals set you back for many days.

Another thing is to not get too emotional when your progress feels slow. You have to be realistic when it comes to your goals, and being frustrated over the speed of your progress can make you spiral into quitting altogether. I was 96kg in February and I'm 84 kg now. I've almost quit so many times because I was comparing myself to those 3 month body transformation videos and expecting to be ripped after 3 months. In reality, it takes most people up to a year to 2 years of consistent training to get into a decent shape. Some can do it in less, but that doesn't mean it automatically applies to you and your genetics.

Good and straight forward video! I am a 55yr old woman and this is how I eat. Meat (mostly red meat), eggs, cheese, fruit and Kimchi or sauerkraut. That's it! Same sh*t everyday and I actually love it! A steak makes my eyes roll in the back of my head! I crave this food now!

I like your take on tracking protein/cals. Being that meticulous about it can cause a lot of stress and potentially cause burnout

Hey man I took away a few good tips from your video and I think that you definitely deserve more views! I totally agree on your point that just because caloreis are the same doesn’t mean that they are as healthy but I do think you were wrong when you said that diet soda is so bad that we can’t drink it

I was at the same spot as you were, almost exact looking body haha, kept wanting to go way too low and then found myself going crazy on the peanut butter, eating the entire jar, I finally just started allowing myself to eat more, I restrict myself way less, I just do intermittent fast, and I eat whenever I want in a certain time frame while counting my calories approximately (low-carb, high protein, high fats) and I do cardio which I found just boosts my fat burn, also had started taking omega 3 supplements and for some reason while on it, my hunger is way lower, not sure why, but I'm not complaining. I'm finally in those final stages, getting close to my end goal, and actually feel pretty good in my body at the moment. My big turning point was when I had a 1-week-long insane binge but every day of that week I was doing cardio burning 1500 cal daily, I found myself actually leaner than before after all that binging and that's when I realized I had been doing it wrong.

I agree with the cheat day part, ever since I started eating healthier my cravings for anything processed and mass produced decreased drastically. Food actually seems so fulfilling nowadays because of it and overall my mental and physical health has been better because of my diet

That s exactly howI maintain my constant weight since high school By eating loads of Fruits ! Apple, pomegranate, pomelo, kiwi, all berries, pears. And for high temperature only cooking with sesame oil, very stable. Also don t sleep on some vegetables like bitter cucumbers, black radish, panais And a bunch of aromatic herbs not just a few leaves. It s easier since I live in France where organic foods are not that expensive and high quality

I’m sort of skinny but have some muscle, (I kind of look like the lean photo) but I think I eat to much sugar and processed food. Should I do something similar to your diet but add in carbs so I don’t become a stick figure?

I track macros and I still eat white rice lol I think if people are able to, I highly recommend intermittent fasting because you can eat more calories later in the day. I work from home so I just drink coffee and walk during my lunch break because you can always make food when you are working on something lol

I struggle with epilepsy, and as a result of all the medicine (depakote, lacosamide) over the years I gained a fair amount of weight. During a seizure I injured my neck. I am wheelchair bound and gained a lot more weight. I'm almost walking again and need to lose weight. This video is very insightful and inspiring. With your advice, maybe I will be below 200 lbs again by the time I turn 20, but if not, thats ok I will get there. Great video.

Count Calories, intermittent fasting, and BE PATIENT. People remember them only being fat and not the time it took to get to that weight. Getting to that weight doesn't happen overnight and depending on how long you were fat you probably can't remember the last time you were skinny to that fat timeline. Mostly it would take about 2-3x the amount of time you put on to take it off.

I cannot completely agree w you bc looking at yourself in the mirror and feeling that your body looks pretty bad is not something healthy for your mind, even though you acknowledge that for sure you definitely want to change; many ppl just don't have the tools to start loosing weight in a realistic and sustainable way. So feeling bad in front of the mirror is not something good to me. I can asure you that 99% of the people with overweigh looking themself on the mirror are feeling terrible. To me the fact that you are saying that this is good is so shocking. I can definitely understand your point. But you should be more careful. Btw Great Change!
