Yahuah is working on us. For me, I had heard from others here and there about the dietary laws, but I clung to the verse about gentiles not eating food sacrificed to idols, strangled, or blood, and thought I wasfine with that. I didn't make any changes until I studied it outfor myself. First, I looked at every Christian argument and the scriptures they used and made sure I understood them. Then, I went back before Moses to look at the evidences since creation that Yahuah always told people how to eat. But, Noah was told he was given ALL, so that one really tripped me up for a while. I just knew there had to be an understanding of the Melchizedek order, because Yahusha is a high priest after the order of Melchizedek. So I studied that. I wasn't going to jump on it until I thoroughly understood. I raised pigs and rabbits for food. If I was going to go clean, it also meant getting rid of pigs and rabbits and starting something new. I had over 400 pounds of pork in my freezer, plus the pigs I was raising. I couldn't just jump on eating clean unless I was fully convinced it was what Yahuah wanted. Then, I had read a verse in Ezekiel about a mark getting put on those who sigh and cry over the abominations done in the city, and that led me to a full study of everything Yahuah calls an abomination. I highly recommend word studies using concordances, dictionaries/lexicons, interlinears. All of the abominations in scripture the conservative churches of today would still call abominations, except for one...eating swine. Now why would the Father change his mind about just that one thing? You have to look ata list of abominations and you'll see. We have been deceived. Eating unclean is an abomination, detestable, a defilement. That fact sealed it for me. No more eating unclean animals. No more signs about how great bacon is hanging on my walls. I actually had a sign that said "Bacon makes everything better" What blasphemy, and I couldn't even see it until I studied abominations!! Once my eyes were opened, and I looked at the culture around me, I couldn't help but notice that if someone is talking about food, havinh a gathering surrounding food, its almost always the unclean...pig roast, BBQ,Clam Bake, Shrimp Boil, Crawfish, Catfish...no one is celebrating with clean animals. Its interesting. These things have become idols. And I didn't see it. Once you do, its so obvious. I sold off my herd of pigs, sold the pork in my freezers, sold my rabbits (kept a few for fertilizer for my garden and to breed to feed my dogs in a grid down scenario), and in their place I now raise sheep and goats. Praise Yah for his patience and goodness towards me, a sinner. All that to say, I know what you are going through. The deception we've been under seems to have no end. Be blessed as you study the word and hold up every belief to its light.

We are all aware of the modern food industry where all these clean animals are fed nothing but grain which is detrimental and how they are prepared as food using seed oils.

I think in thr New Kingdom, we will be plant based as Adam and Eve were, and all pre-flood. Eating any animal is death to that animal, and death is always a result of sin. There are plenty of channels that teach the bible they are just mostly Hebrew Israelite Christians, so they are considered cults. The House of Jacob, The Israel of God, and the Bible Christians of God are all good congregations with youtube videos. I am personally a member of the Israel of God and we teach obedience to the law. I suggest just staying away from Israelites United in Christ. They mainly preach hate towards gentiles instead of doing their job of being a nation of priests and being a light to the nations. Ron is a great guy, but I do have doctrinal differences with him and agree with these congregations more. For example, I do agree with just about everything he said in this video except the bit about the dietary law not being a salvation issue. If you are knowledgeable about and know you have to keep it, then it will be held against you. Isaiah 66 is clear that messiah will come back and burn those who eat abominations, knowing that they should not. Yes, Yah gave us laws that are for our benefit not to restrict us, but it is also an act of showing you know who God is and knowing that he is sovereign. The dietary law falls under the umbrella as the restriction against homosexuality. You are not necessarily hurting anyone, but you are going against the creators design and making yourself out to be your own God by going against his own design.

I actually found out that tallow is made from suet/chelev and that is the internal fat of the animal that we are not allowed to consume. Letting you know as I only found out last week myself and I thought it was actually okay to eat although I had not started consuming it. You can read Leviticus 3 for a Scripture reference.

I'm still wrestling with whether or not Ican rend down my beef and goat fat. The verse about not eating it is in a chapter about doing sacrifices. In a sacrifice, the fat is the best part and is reserved for the Father. When it speaks of the fat from those died of themselves or torn by beasts, those animals are not allowed to he eaten,but the fat can be used since those animals weren't sacrificed. You could make soap or candle out of the fat from animals that die or are killed by beasts. But that chapter isn't talking about animals that you just kill for food, not for sacrifice, so I'm still studying that. Keeping the fat in the freezer until I'm sure one way or the other. At this point, I do believe, when looking at context, that these verses are only speaking about sacrifices.

The writer, Paul is NOT encouraging anyone to eat whatever they want. If you read you will see Paul was a very strong enforcer of the law.

I don't blame you because a lot of lawless believers like to use Rom. 14 in a sleight of hand way to make it appear to promote lawlessness. However, even a cursory reading of passages like Rom. 2:13, Rom. 3:31, and 1 Cor. 7:19 will quickly dispel any belief that Paul promoted the idea that he was encouraging lawlessness of any kind.

If you fasted everyday, you'd be dead in a week. So maybe you should explain what you actually do.

@@letstalktruthwithsuziann I fast every single day, I eat one meal per day. It is totally impossible to die from fasting, every single night we fast (that’s unless you choose to wake up and eat during sleep) but the reason it is called breakfast, is because you are breaking your fast… now here is an Example of the life that YAH has guided me in: my last meal is usually after work & after I work out.. that is usually 7pm…… my next meal is the next evening after work, after a work out, usually 7pm or longer, that equals 24 hours each day. There are months where I will add prolonged fasting, that would be 48 hours or more. So I fast every single day. For 5 years. And I would like to add that my career which YAH gave me, is not a stationary career, I am a union construction worker.

@@BronxJamelNuyorican1977 Well you eat everyday, if it's even once so it would've been better to say I fast for a time, everyday, instead of saying I fast everyday, which makes it sound like you eat nothing at all everyday for 5 years. As you said we fast when we sleep, that is not consuming any food or drink for that period of time, so it is same when the word fast is used in a general term, those of "The Way" will assume that it is a holy 24 hour fast, not a Diet fast, because you're not supposed to work during a holy fast. Not judging you, I only wanted clarity, so thanks.

@@letstalktruthwithsuziannit isn’t just for a diet type of fast, it’s a spiritual cleanse each day not allowing my stomach to dictate my emotions (I’ve always liked that one verse by eshon burgundy in the song blessings “ no discipline or wise judgment/ that’s when my god was my stomach) I digress.. in continuing my sentence … & what comes from that are the benefits which science is now understanding, well, holistic science that is. I’m a huge herbal consumer as well. But I understand where some would be confused, we fast everyday none the less, whether it’s short term (sleeping), long term (eating once or twice a day) or prolonged (going more than 24 hours. What I do believe is many will gain benefits from fasting & many will be led in adding it to the life of health & well being.

I could relate. I loved Bacon so much, but boy, it did not love me back. I'm thankful that this video about the dietary laws came around the same time I decided to reduce the amount of junk I eat.
