Adding the cost of sales into the cost of goods sold (COGS) in accounting isn't necessarily "wrong," but it's important to understand the distinction between these two terms to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis.

COGS is all the costs YOU have to sell a product. If you're being charged for shipping, then yes.
