I’d get a Vespa but my balls are not big enough. Fuck it would be funny so see someone like mike Tyson driving around on one. Next day the Vespa be the coolest thing on two wheels
I have spent the last few years trying to figure out the difference... so glad I finally came across this video. Oh the limbo i have been living in and now a breath of fresh air.
@@DaRuler66 I do. Our bodies are vehicles also... they transport our spirit from place to place. A motorcycle is a vehicle. D.M.V = DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLE.
@@charlesmorissette8927 come on its obvious he means the video is stupid of a busa is faster than a stock offroader or a stock anything , why not do a bicycle it's just as stupid , i mean the vid would be so much cooler if the offroader won , it's like doing a vid with a super car vs a stock civic saying this is the difference between blal bla , ppl dont click the vid because they dont know they click because they think the offroader could win
@@aruxq3834 plus dirt bikes aren't meant to go THAT fast lol , its a completely different genre . Next video why not make offroad jumps with that street bike or just let alone ride off road with those tires and suspension
I want to see now the street bike compete against the dirk bike on off road on ramp jump tricks on agility between trees and rocks of many sizes on capacity to change directions on any given moment, I personally own both types of bike and I use them for 2 completly different purposes
That's why I love my bike. 1290 super adventure, it will do the quarter mile is about 11s, but it will also follow the dirt bike in most off road situations !
thats what marketing using world class riders want to make you believe ... crazy fast on the street, for what it is and in real world, yes as for offroad, not so much
@@Kalimerakis well you're right of course, there are many places where the dirt bike can go and I won't because it is far too heavy (basically any serious off-road trek) But for where I actually go, easy dirt and mud paths where I am confident not to drop it, it's agile enough. All you really need is knobby tires and suspension travel. The real trick is electronic suspensions, sport mode is surprisingly stiff (between a roadster and a sportbike), comfort mode absorbs everything, off road lets you lock the rear wheel but not the front... You definitely get a lot of versatility from the electronics. (I used to shit on trail bikes, until I tried this one... Had to swallow my words and ended up buying one)
@@JeanPineau44 Yes you are right, the scope of versatility is pretty amazing. Like anywhere it is a compromise and a choice you have to make. There is more to offroading than being able to "make it". A lot of bikes can "make it", the question is are you having fun, playing around, are confident and enjoying yourself. Or are you worried about loosing the front on gravel because you are handling a quarter of a ton. I'm not saying it doesn't have its place by any means, celebrate diversity. I just believe a lot of people miss out on a lot of fun (and/or get hurt).
Now let's do the same test, but off-road in a field, or in the mud. :) A Hayabusa is a cool bike, but I would honestly prefer to ride the slower dirt bike. ;)
I'd say the dirt bike on a mild dirt road after a mild light rain would be tough to beat. A few pot holes, rocks, and slick mud ... That street bike is useless. I've always preferred a rally car over a super car if I had to choose.
@@lovelessissimo I'd say rally cars are practical super cars ha ha. Living in New England the roads are horrible. A Lambo would get destroyed driving fast through a typical city street with potholes. Vs something like a higher end WRX likely could handle it.
I had a modded drz400 for a long time. Bike did everything but it wasnt going to win a drag race lol. Also ive ridden several RR bikes fast on gravel. A gsxr1000 is more stable on gravel than a stock drz400s ;) but the the drz is much cheaper if you drop it.
I can see you never been on the drag strip before. The goal of a drag strip is to set and beat your own time record the opponents added for motivation and the fun factor. You don't choose who to race you simply take a number and wait for your turn same goes for your opponent. It's completely random which bike you doing to race sometimes you'll race zx14's busa's and other liter superbikes and some times a guy on his rc390 or an r3 or even harleys. The racing is purely agaisnt the time.
@@Fearless154 exactly, now that guy knows what time his dirt bike does, not at all a waste of time. I had a ktm 525 supermoto, so they're not very fast on the track but on a hilly road I was pulling wheelies out of the corners while the 220hp Vmax in front of me was still trying to stand the heifer lump back up, I could of easily overtaken out of the corner only to be had half way up the straight. We were both having a lot of fun and that's what riding is all about.
@@reipteip6945 I know they started as a tractor company the tractors tho are fairly expensive and not that great tbh I prefer John Deere’s and Massey Ferguson
@@jjRoxy only if its driven by a dude in a flat brim with watermelon vape, fuzzy dice, a scrappy diy roll cage, a fart can, and an eBay "show your personality" shift knob.
@@jonmda1 Actually, looking more closely, I think you're right. I have modified mine a lot. Everybody seems to modify their DR650 and DRZ400S bikes. The DR650 has been the same bike since 1996 because, if they update it, then they'll have to comply with emissions all over again and they don't want to spend the R&D when it keeps selling like hotcakes year after year.
@@damachine3 This is a DRZ400, they are instantly recognizable regardless of mods by their liquid-cooled engine and absence of air-cooling vanes. The DRZ650 has an air-cooled engine which stands out a mile as it lacks radiators and the entire engine is encased in cooling canes.
that bike is indestructible and the rider a legend. it is said he just kept driving afterwards likely riding to the nearest trail on his way to his favorite diner. .
I used to have a V Twin literbike and a motarded dual sport. I kept the latter. Less maintenance, easier repairs, better gas mileage, effortless handling, and in practical terms is plenty fast enough on the street.
ok... i mean yes the SuperSport will obviously win in a drag race against a dirt bike... but 9 sec 1/4 mile is fast even among supersport bikes, while 16 sec 1/4 mile is slow even among dirt bikes...
Broito Even if it’s a DRZ 400 that’s still kind of slow. My 230 will do 1/4 mile about a second-ish slower than that run and it makes a lot less power than that bike.
Right lol. Dirt bikes rip hard and fast. My dual sport is fast for what it is could be faster without all that safety road equipment to make it legal. I top out my crf250l at 85
Who ever wrote the title has to go back to the belly and born again, if is permitted by the monkeys evolution and Elon Musk of course. It's a rat on space.
Doubt it would beat the street bike but a 2-stroke motocross would’ve at least been more interesting-he would’ve been on his back tire for a minute-LOL
@@chrisredfield3240 Yeah, that's like Harleys. They think because they have bigger engines they're faster, but that's not the case. A 600cc sport will walk any stock street legal Harley.
@@glavaR26 u got it wrong, they were saying if the fish raced the bird out of water the fish would lose but if the bird would have to race the fish in water the fish would win
That's no dirt bike, It's a DR650, one of the most popular dual sport/small adventure bukes on the market. They are reliable, slow, tough as a $2 steak, and 100% not a dirtbike
Canis ! Yes there is. Major difference being dual sports have trannys more aimed at street riding than a dirt bike, and dirt bikes have insanely close ratio transmissions that offer extremely quicker acceleration than the alternative. Not to mention that dual sports are generally much heavier than the equivalent sized engine dirt bike. It's more than worth mentioning
Let's be honest every single person that watched this video knew the outcome of the race... A suzuki hayabusa (1300cc 194HP) vs a trail bike or dual sport not a dirt bike suzuki DRZ 400. (400cc 32Hp). come on...
PorkChopGaming not true, I thought maybe the suzuki might have thrown a piston or caught on fire while the little bike that could , slowly passed him & finished first...🤔 was a possibility,( in my mind)
That's a suzuki gsxr1300, hayabusa, look up pictures of the 1lbusa front end and the 14 front end dumbass...I can't believe you ppl are allowed to breed Tommy Armstrong
Like it, now do a video with a similar title showing the same bikes climbing a single track mountain trail with some banked turns, ruts, tree stumps and big exposed tree roots. In the rain.
Jayge Marshall you think a ktm or a Yamaha would have fared any better? It would still get blown away into another dimension. This video is for comedy reasons, if anything
@@asdasdasdasd-os5ib 500 2 stroke single is no where near a 1000 4 stroke, my KTM 500 four stroke would whip any 500 2 stroke as you can out the power to the ground way easier and rev higher
Now go ride the 'busa up a steep rocky hill. If drag racing were chopping down trees the 'busa would be a chainsaw and the DRZ would be a hammer. Of course the chainsaw is better at cutting wood, but let's see you drive a nail with it.
