Im no zed genius but playing zed to reach diamond has taught me several other tips id love to share too: 1. Zed's early levels 1-3 are pretty weak so most of the time he likes to have his farm somewhat near turret. So, be wary when trying to poke the lane opponent as your q is aoe and can push the wave. I like to shoot my q's so they dont hit the wave. 2. It's easy to get in the habit of shove and roam with W E Q. But if you use that combo and immediately facecheck brush to roam/ward, you need to be wary that enemy jungler can gank you and you wont have W. 3. As Fiddlezahar said, dont lose too much hp in early levels 1-3. Try to have at least 2 pots/1 refill left at level 4 cause thats when you start trading better (tip from laceration) 4. Always, always be mindful of when you are trying to W E Q combo. Try not to shoot it lazily, make it as accurate as possible. Also best to do it when you are not vulnerable i.e. you know you wont die if jgler shows up after you cast W. Think of zed's W as an extremely important and effective cooldown/threat. 5. get galaxy slayer zed cause he drops some sick beats on ctrl-3 hope this helps!
@@ritosedits4222 yup i mean lvl 2 and lvl 3 definitely have kill potential in some matchups like TF, but if they focus on pushing you in, your forced to spend your q CD on last hitting minions. Like if you watch zed99 play, his early levels are calm and controlled most of the time.

Man, I’ve just got my first zed game and I got a 30/7 just by learning from your videos. It’s really great because I wasn’t Shute what champion to main.
Zed is the first high-skill ceiling champion I'm going to be trying out. I'm also not great with melee champions so hopefully learning and maybe even mastering Zed will help me a lot in the game overall. I'm really nervous about doing poorly in my first games but I guess that's how you learn and improve :) thanks for video

I watched this vid yesterday because i was having trouble playing zed. Although i know what was the problem. It's just that i don't know how to solve it. After watching this and saw how to better myself. Today my decision making in playing zed skyrocketed. I actually kept doing mistakes on my W on when to use it and when to use necessary skills. I have literally never once considered using W to get cs, except to extend the range of my Q to avoid being in range of a counterattack. Which actually means I probably don't use it often *enough* to cs... which is probably why I am never able to shove, and therefore never able to roam...
I did do one of the mistakes but I really dunno why most zed users I meet spam abilities in lane to deal a teeny bit of damage to while leaving them with 0 chance of escape
I usually do fine in lane. I win, roams once or twice and get double kill bot but then mid to late game, I often get cc'd and one shot, usually not having the opportunity to w away. Like vs champs like renek, kennen, malz, asol
No real way to hit them all the time, the basic W+E combo slows the enemy and allows the Zed to hit his Q on a slowed target, other things could be waiting for the opponent to go for a minion, waiting until he uses his utility, hiding in a bush and doing a full combo on a target that doesn't see you. In conclusion even the best zed players miss their Q's but Zed can still kill a target with the rest of his abilities.
Hey Fiddlezahar, excuse me but when I lane I always get ahead, and I become huge, ex. 9/1, and even 12/2 but I end up losing my turret first and I am not sure when to roam or how to do it correctly, can you please give me tips/ make a vid on that please? I’d really appreciate it
The good and bad players in my place is quite different Good players: When gets a kill from the enemy either flex the mastery level 7 or type "? " in the chat or just boasts about how the zed player play Bad zed players: Mostlymisses up Q's, very slow combo, if they have mastery badge, they'll use it, ifthey lose lane, they'll either blame jg or other laners
