I think it was the packaging you got, have been doing jherry curl for almost 3 years now and the activator in Hollywood comes in a small container,really small tho like a one time use
I did my jerry curls about 3 weeks ago. I used the Hollywood. I got to the salon late so I took my relaxed hair home till the following day. It didn't hurt me. Almost 12hrs or more. Cos i was busy. Like 10pm to 11am the following day. Other process was same as yours.
Hollywood curl kit, they have a bigger gel curl activator but you have to buy that one separate. It doesn't come with a kit and that's what I'm using for my hair. Miss Joy, the instructions, caution and directions are on the package itself but at the side
Thanks for the video but if you do the same process you did for the Hollywood on the coconut oil you would get the same result and the instructions you are talking about is on the body of the Hollywood pack... The activator use to be bigger than that but the more it got expensive the most the activator reduced

Hollywood has its own activator and it's s even better than jack5. I've been on Jehri curls since 2013 and I do nothing else to my hair asides styling it whichever way I deem fit.

I think it’s normal. Try to moisturize your hair once in a while so it won’t get dry easily, e.g apply oil sheen spray on your hair, etc. I hope you understand.
I really don’t know. If you know how to do it very well by yourself and you have all you need to achieve it at home, then you can do it at home. But if you can’t do it at home by yourself, then go to a salon and meet a professional.
Lol, you must have bought the wrong Hollywood kit. It is the best amongst all three kits. Also the reason, you felt some sort of burn is cause you must have scratched and left some wound on your scalp.
The women who did your hair overlapped the relaxer and curl booster on already relaxed and boosted hair, that is why your hair got ruined. I would find someone who knows how to apply curl perms on afro hair. 2 hours for that chemical to sit on your scalp is a long time and it may cause dermatitis seborreia in the funture that looks like dandruff but isn't and is hard to get rid of.
