In this video, we go over just a few of the differences between our 2 adopted Greyhounds Magnus & Scout. We also visit Loch Tay in the Trossachs and Colinton Tunnel in Edinburgh #adoptagreyhound
Thank you Magnus and Scout for making us fall in love with Greyhounds. Thanks to you we now have a 7-year old beautiful girl called Luna and we couldn't be more happy.
He is a big boy. I always forget and then remember when we go on the greyhounds walks and the rest are smaller. That said there is one greyhound on the walks who is several inches taller and longer than Magnus
I recently adopted an ex racing grey and it’s hilarious how similar she is to Scout - the playing, the vocalisations, but thankfully she sleeps like Magnus. Lovely to see these two and I’m even more thankful now that I adopted my Avi. :)
Thank goodness I'm not the only one who burps there grey. I thought my girl was being affectionate but I have slowly grown to realise I'm winding my dog. I laughed hard when I saw you do the same. Brilliant video thank you for sharing 😍
Awwww... They are just like our Rex and Rocket! Rex is the big boy and Rocket is smaller. Magnus and Scout are so cute! Maybe we should make a similar video about our boys too 🤔
What a great video! Magnus and Scout are so lovely😍 They have very different personalities😄 How old were they when they stopped racing? I know at least Magnus used to race.
Greyhounds are the best dogs in the world! Do they both like zoomies and do they run together and come back when called? Thanks for sharing Magnus and scout with us!
Magnus and Scout are good with children. Scout's favourite toy as a Pheasant which she pulls the stuffing out off repeatedly. Magnus does not really have a favourite toy
Hello! We have reserved a greyhound at our local rescue and are very excited to bring him home soon. Thanks so much for your videos - they've been so helpful, not to mention the perfect calming way to wind down at night. My question is: I noticed that in some clips, you have Magnus and Scout off-lead for a runabout in public parks. Did you do recall training in order to be confident doing this? Do they come back when called, even when there are distractions (other people, dogs, small animals)? We have a decent sized garden, but I'd love him to be able to have a proper sprint and get up to full speed on occasion.
Thanks for watching. Glad you like the videos. The parks we go to are enclosed and we had them all to ourselves so we did not have to worry about recall. That being noted, we have done recall training with Magnus in the past. We have not done any with Scout. All the best with your upcoming adoption. They are great dogs.
@@hannahc8067 Look up where you live b/c every council has different laws, where I live greyhounds have to kept on a leash at all times even in dog parks. But congratulations on the new family member you will not regret it. I lost my two girls 12 - 13 a yr apart suddenly over a yr ago now but if I was to get another dog it would have to be a greyhound. WARNING: greyhounds are like a packet of chips, one is not enough.
@@belmum1689 Thanks for the tip (and the warning, haha!). They seem such amazing dogs. We haven't even picked him up yet and I'm already wondering if we'll have room for two in the future! Sorry about your girls, I'm sure you gave them a fantastic retirement :)
Hello there hope your doing well i used to have a rescued greyhound but since then i have now got two small dogs 1 jack russell and a italian greyhound cross shitzu so i am wondering how they get on with small dogs as i would love to get back into rescuing 😁
