I love my 2014, the look is so much more aggressive and boxy, I just don't like how the rounded off the car in 2015 I guess it looks more like a nascar body style but imo the 2014 has that get out of my way look
Yes! I was in the market for a new car recently and always liked the Charger. I was looking at the 2015, but opted for the 2014 R/T for that very reason -- the front end is just beautiful!! Gives the car such a personality.
I like the more aggressive appearance of the 2014 much more appealing. I like the hood design on the 2014 model much more than the smooth look of the 2015. The wider taillight assembly is nicer. I find the more aggressive look of the 2014 grill area more appealing. The placement of the marker lights on the fender edges (2015) are invitation to stone damage. I have seen this occur. I use the A/C and audio controls on the dash more, so not redundant. Placing the SD card slot in the console compartment is not more convenient. I find the dash mounted access much better. Yes, I own a 2014 model. I am more than happy with it. Thanks for creating this video. Well done!
The 2014 is way better looking then the 2015! They messed up the look on these Chargers! The 2011-2014s are the best looking ones! The 1969 is the best ever!
2015-2018 your just buying a bigger Dodge Dart, I own a 12 Charger and 13 dart. I rented a 15 RT Charger when my car was in the shop and it is exactly like the dart in all ways except for the obvious engine and space. Only thing that is better on the 15s up is the speed cluster that it. I’ll take my 12 charger any day. But nothing against the new gen Charger, they still clean but would not buy 1 would wait for the 19models when they drop.
The 2015 charger doesn't look like a charger but a dart trying to look like a charger. I was thinking of getting a 2015 but I can't pass up that iconic charger look! I bought a 2014 SXT and boy does it look tough, yet sexy! Do you know if it's possible to connect a back up camera to the uconnect 8.4a interface?
Dukiny Gaming Agreed. The scat pack or srt front bumper looks so much better than the non srt or scat pack. I guess its a matter of preference, but if I had to choose a 2015 I want the SRT bumper.
+Adam M Same here. I went to the dealership yesterday, looked at the 2015 and 2014 and ended up getting the 2014. I think the 14 looks much better plus I saved a ton in depreciation costs by getting it a year used.

I love my 14 all wheel drive. I personally hate the 15-current chargers. They look too streamlined and lost that classic muscle look that the 11-14’s had.

I have a 2014 R/T Max and I love it. But I would like to know why Dodge did away with the heated/cooled cup holders for 2015 like I have in mine. People may think its a stupid option but I love having it, more so for keeping drinks cool.
They do look great ......front is way better .....just needs more power out of that 5.7 ......375hp isn't anything anymore. ... Especially for a so called muscle car
Somebody please tell Mr. Sergio Marchionne and all the designers at Detroit THEY JUST FU..ED UP with this "new design" of one of the most powerfull cars. CHARGER is not for everybody, the ones we do have one understand the feeling. I have to say my heart is broken. I hope someday they can return the MUSCLE to it.
I think its up to the individual, both are chargers but i must admit or 2nd generation chargers are more aggressive in the front, ours with a little customized parts will set it of,thanks

ur right man, i hate how the Darts look and the 2015 kinda resembles them, its really the back of them that makes me think that, shoulda left the style like the 2014
ennoble one the hideous grill and the blocky headlight assembly design. Also the rear tail light LEDs could be counted individually from afar. The new tail light assembly has smooth and consistent lighting.
ennoble one hard angles everywhere isnt the best way to design a car. Curves flow better and are more pleasing to the eye on front engined vehicles. Not saying the car should look like an old Taurus from the late 90's but only use a small amount of hard angles and lines to define minor details in the design
The new design is way too melow and now a 'me too' wannabe with all the other cars out there that have the head light and tail light sections subordinate to the body contours and looking smirred. Its no longer a muscle car, nor is it sexy. They just made the 14, a hot classic collectors item ahead of its time.
Oh is the 15 shorter .. no good.. You need all the length you can get. There is a reason mustangs are near impossible to control . Because they are short.
Have you ever considered buying a better camera for your videos? I think most of the enthusiasm of watching the video just died a terrible death with that FishEye effect...not to mention that microphone quality too! Pretty cheap.

fighting1202 now that you're right about the tail lights aren't as good looking as the 13 and 14 mustang. ..but everything else on the 15s look great.... Plus they're just a tad bit quicker
joseph scott If I had an SXT Premium to compare it to, I would have. I go off what our inventory gives us, and that's the only one we have right now. Like I said before, I'm not comparing equipment, it's more mechanical.
But the similarities are there both slow as s*** compared to there competitors......huge engine ' bad mpg 'no power ..... If these things got over 400 horsepower they'd be great

Chevy)but there v8s pull way over 400hp .while the stock 5.7hemi only pulls 375 ..unlike you i actually own one of these . lum otaku Unfortunately, the only thing this car really has in common with the vintage Dodge muscle cars of the 60's and 70's is the name and the fact that they are rear wheel drive. Our Challenger is the closest thing to the actual Mopar Classic. That being said, they sell well and are very popular, so Dodge is doing something right. I like the fact that the Charger is not retro. Sometimes it's overdone, if you ask me.
Well even the 80s chargers were 2 door and they in no way were retro. They definitly messed up by making the front on the new ones look more like a Neon erm exscuse me Dart(which dosent look anything like a dart and could be called an omni just as easily)
