Most of my metal detecting videos are fairly well planned out. We might not know what we're gonna find, but before we leave in the morning we have a good location lined up, a decent number of diggers to search, and all the camera and detecting equipment we should need. But on this day life got in the way, and many of us had to work and would either be late, have to leave early, or didn't think we'd make it at all. This includes even me who normally does all the video recording, editing, sound work, etc.... But rather than scrapping the day, Dog Tag Doug said that he would take the reigns and do the best job he can filming as different guys came and went through the day until I got there. These fields has been good to us so far with old silver coins, copper large cents, half cents, indian, crotal bells, buttons, and much more; so I was all for the idea so that if anything else was found we could capture the moment. Now Doug has never taken on the entire show by himself before, but I'm sure he can handle it for half the day. So let's see how the guys make out, before, during, and after as Doug makes his first attempt at a Dog Tag Doug DigCathlon!
