THE STERLING® DIGIBINDER PLUS SG is a fully automated perfect binding machine. The pneumatic clamp and the nipper adjust automatically. The extra heavy duty roughing blade roughs and notches the entire backbone of the book. This allows for the binding of coated and oil infused stocks. Twin glue rollers ensure an even glue application. The machine also produces book blocks for hard cover binding.
What makes The Digibinder Plus SG so special is what’s under the hood. The machine employs an extra heavy duty roughing blade which facilitates the binding of problem stocks such as digitally printed UV coated paper. It also includes a separate side glue pot.
This feature is only available on much more expensive perfect binding machines.
While all Digibinders side glue, a separate side glue pot ensures perfect side gluing each and every time.
