The DigiTech FreqOut Natural Feedback Creator allows you to get sweet, natural feedback at any volume, with or without distortion.
The FreqOut is perfect for situations where volume must be controlled like in the studio, with in ear monitors, or low-volume performance and practice. However, the FreqOut can also be used at gig volume to focus out-of-control feedback on a preferred harmonic at any stage position.
The FreqOut has adjustable feedback Onset (delay before feedback begins), Gain (feedback level to balance with your dry signal), Dry On/Off, latching or momentary operation, true bypass, and a rugged road-tough steel chassis.

I have this too. I feel when Digitech can find a way to Taper off the feedback, as opposed to the note Vanishing or getting chopped off, they will then have a Great pedal!!

True bypass is only in latch mode, in momentary mode it a buffered bypass.

I'm using Hotone Ampero MP100. If I put it in front of my Ampero, can the sound of both units be captured on my Reaper track?

Sorry, the question is pretty vague. What are you using to record the Ampero into Reaper.

Maleek Evans thanks for your question. If memory serves you should place it at the start of the signal chain, probably behind a wah pedal if you’re using one.

Bender Vision thanks for the question. It’s all done with green screen. There are tons of free video backgrounds out there that you can download and use via most video editing programs with a chroma key effect.

Bender Vision there are green screen apps for the phones as well.

Why are you cutting off the notes so quickly instead of letting it sustain..? That's what I imagine most people would use this for. Is it because you wanted to quickly go through the settings quickly, or is this pedal not capable of doing so?

Hi Ryan It's absolutely capable of sustaining. I guess I just wasn't thinking about demonstrating that enough when we shot this video. Thanks for the feedback though. I'll keep that in mind when we revisit this pedal in a future video.

Kudos on the super quick reply! I really want one of these suckers, I'd love to try one. Sitting on youtube watching Freqout videos by the dozen is the next best thing I guess lol

Ryan Teacher it's a lot of fun and pretty hard to put down. We're going to try it out with the Rubberneck which is just wild when used in combo.

It cuts off after a short while anyway so he's probably trying to mask that. not very good if you want more than a few secs of feedback, shame really but maybe you can squeeze a bit longer out of it with a compressor as well
