We walked from Ventry to Dunquin over varied terrain. It took us 5 hrs 45 minutes to walk 10.5 miles with an elevation gain of 1,341 feet. The weather varied during the day from cloudy to clear to cloudy and finally clear to town. It was an enjoyable walk with spectacular views of the Great Blasket Islands, Slea Head, Dunmore Head and Coumeenoole Bay.
