Am I the only one who thought it a big red flag that the mother said Chris had his "dream job' with an office in Yankee stadium, but left it to return to Milwaukee to work at the same company as his mother. I wonder what really happened with that "dream job."

It’s almost unbearable listening to his mom talk. Ma’am your son is a MONSTER and you’re making excuses for him.

This is what happens when you make excuses for your son his entire life; when there are no consequences for his appalling behaviour. Her child is a murderer and she’s still lying for him.

What is it with these toxic mothers that refuse to face the truth about their sons. I’ve seen this in so many cases.

I think it's ironic that the defense wants you to believe someone 100% saw this girl in a car at a stop light; yet a canine alerting to a dead body all over his bed, apartment, car, etc...that's inconceivable! 🙄

He killed her. His mom can cry all she wants, it’s never easy to come to terms with the fact that you’ve raised a murderer. I understand that. But it doesn’t change that he killed this girl.

He was “devastated” that he got caught. It’s unfortunate that his mother is in denial after all the circumstantial evidence presented in the court. The case was closed shut for me when they said she never came out of the apartment and the hits the dog got all over the apartment.

That mother helped her “little boy”, she’s cold. These defense lawyers just stop, stop you’re embarrassing yourself. The girlfriend gave away some telling evidence, I’m glad she didn’t lie for him. The police, prosecutors and dog did an awesome job. Thank you 👍🏽👏🏽

I love how much the defense hangs their argument on “there’s no DNA evidence, there’s no eye witness”. How do people think crimes were solved back BEFORE DNA, video surveillance, gps? Leg work, deduction, intuition.

I couldn’t imagine being a defense attorney…..knowing that probably 75% or more of the time you are defending a guilty person in cases like this one.

i actually thought that the killer's mother was his defense attorney up until they got to the point about him visiting *her* house. it's insane how much denial she's in. it shows how he got to the point where he felt like he could do something like this and get away with it. RIP Kelly 🕊️🤍

This case is so disturbing. I can’t imagine how awful it must have been for Kelly. I hope her mother and friends have found some comfort. Knowing that her murderer was the “man” she thought she was in love with.

I have followed this case all along. This guy did this and don't think it hasn't happened again. There are a crap ton of lunatics out there. Stay the heck away from those dating websites, too! ...Unless you have a way to know for sure that the person you are meeting is NOT in another relationship, or is NOT in the middle of a psychotic break. Mental health problems are rampant, especially these days.

The footage of them walking into his place is haunting. It seems innocent at first. She's bubbly, and chatty, and looking forward to a fun night. Watching it back he seems to be in a hurry to get back (walking out in front of her) and get started with his depravity. Sick and sad...

I love the victim blaming attempted by the defence. 'She was on DATING sites! Anyone could have killed her! She dated *multiple* men. This was always going to end badly.' As if all dating sites are full of predators, and women are asking for it if they use online dating platforms... meanwhile, the defendant IS a predator, using all these platforms.. sleeping with multiple women.. but he's innocent? Which is it? The attempts to smear her character for enjoying her sexuality is absolutely disgusting. These guys really do want women to stay at home and marry their 1st cousin.

I hate to say it, but Kelly did not respect herself enough as she allowed this man to use her when she wanted more from this relationship. And this is said assuming that she did not know what a horrible dirtbag he is! But she must have seen hints of his immortality. This is a perfect cautionary tale for younger women to respect themselves. The friend who was invited back to his place after the bar closed felt the evil and she left. Wish Kelly had this discernment. Very sad case.

That mother is for sure covering up important pieces of evidence from the police, she knows what her son did. If he took the sport equipment to her house, he probably took the golf bag, but disposed of it later on. I have no doubt he killed Kelly, it’s clear as day for me. Rip, young lady 😢

I am a mother of three. I know pretty much anybody is capable of anything. If I truly suspected my child of killing someone, I would not hide them or shield them. I would turn them in. Would I support them while justice is exacted? Yes. Would I still love them? Probably. If it was something truly horrific, especially hurting a child in any form, I do not know what my feelings would be. I can only imagine how my reactions in this type of situation would be because I've never been through it, but I hope nothing like this ever happens to my family. I think it takes a level of mental illness to commit any crime that irrevocably hurts someone or causes a loss of life, so I would want my child to do serve their time and get mental help. That's what being a parent is... wanting the best for your child, helping them find their way, helping them become healthier. Sometimes becoming healthier hurts. It sucks. But as a parent, I know it would not *help* my child to keep a secret about them committing a crime.

The defense paid a homeless guy to say he saw her. They are dead inside and insufferable at best. Watching their cold empty eyes as they plead his case made me ill. Special place for those people. His mom is awful as well. Sad story.

I dated a guy kinda like him when I was younger with a mom that believed her sons could do no wrong. I do believe I dodged a bullet on that one when we broke up. I learned he died of a drug overdose in his mid-30’s.

My deepest sympathies to Kelly’s family.

One major flaw in the defense’s theory that she met her fate in the company of another man is the evidence of her phone going dead forever just moments after Kris exited the parking garage in his car. He then returns a short time later. This is highly suspicious of him disposing of her phone. She would have needed her phone to meet up with her dates so it would have shown activity after the night she spent with Kris but it didn’t. She never met anyone else because she never left that apartment alive. I know circumstantial cases are hard for some people to accept but what you have to understand is that it’s not about one piece of circumstantial evidence or another piece of circumstantial evidence-it’s the totality of it when looking at the whole picture. The likelihood of all of that circumstantial evidence pointing to anything or anyone other than Kris being responsible is impossible and that’s what pushes a case like this into the place of guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. It’s not reasonable that all that circumstantial evidence is just a coincidence. The jury got it right. Unfortunately the mom is either in denial or she’s an accomplice and helped him dispose of evidence.

So he fled Boston and New York and ended up in Milwaukee??? He was running from something?!

They really should film cadaver dogs every time they are deployed with their handlers alongside law enforcement for solid proof instead of relying solely on verbal testimony about what the dog alerted on. We don't want Molly's hard work to go to waste. Hope Kelly's family and Zocco's mother are doing ok.

I never go on dating sites or go out with anyone from the internet. I have a very strong sense that is a dangerous thing to do with all the psychopaths out there.

I feel they got this one wrong. A lot of circumstantial evidence but nothing concrete to pin him to this crime. Imo. They reached far for this one. Just to say they solved a case.

Kelly was too naive for her own good. It's tragic that so many people just don't "get it" how dangerous it is out there. There are nefarious people lurking around every corner. BE AWARE of the dangers, and don't put yourself in harm's way ever.

Man, dating websites are terrifying. You gotta meet them somewhere away from home, not use your real name. Or just don't chance it. Better to find a community where you can meet people and everyone knows them, and can vouch for them, or not. Being a woman means you are potentially prey. It's so unfair and terrifying.

I dated a couple of women who liked to engage in this type of behavior and I stopped seeing them. It creeped me out. Not sure why she kept seeing him after he had done this to her before. And no, I'm not saying it's her fault, but she had some idea of the danger of this behavior if she had engaged in it multiple times and had passed out from it before.

It is during a sex act that prosecutors say Zocco either intentionally or in a reckless act of suffocation, killed Dwyer. Prosecutors say Zocco either cleaned Dwyer's body with towels from his bathroom, or wrapped her body in a shower curtain. Both were never found during the investigation.
