You can take a horse Carriage until half way but still the distance of 15-20 mins is to be covered on foot. It’s a normal way up. Not very steep. But at the end it also depends on the seniors :)

Hi, There are only 4 direct trains from Munich to Füssen, so the frequency is not that good. Two of them are in the morning 8:07 and 9:41. Frequency for trains having change at Buchle is 1 hour. Even if you don't manage to get the direct train, you can get trains with connections easily.
