Thank you for explaining the transfer process. We plan on using it between Epcot and HS to see if the entire process is faster than the boat. We want to use the time to rest our feet.
We wanted to take the Skyliner from Hollywood studios to Magic Kingdom to meet our friends. The transfer at Epcot requires park hopper and to walk all the way to the other side of Epcot. We did not have parkhopper. So they smiled and told us we had to walk over to the Boardwalk hotel and take the bus. No spectacular views just a standing room hot smelly old seemingly endless bus ride. Magical indeed!
There would be a major improvement if you built a transport from the front of EPCOT to the back. Would allow you to have a closed ecosystem for the non bus transport with the sole exception of going to Animal Kingdom or Disney Springs.
Love the skyliner! Just used it for our trip in February at art of animation and it made that value resort worth every penny! Made rope drop Epcot and Hollywood studio a breeze :)
I loved it, especially riding my last night because you can see Spaceship Earth lit up, sky view of World Showcase and fireworks at Magic Kingdom. I even got to see Hollywood Studios, which I haven’t visited yet but given how much was down this last go just as well.
Important to note that you can roll single strollers and inline doubles right onto the gondola but you need to break down side by side doubles to enter 😊
Question!! Are they Air Conditioned? I doubt right? Because… where’s an AC gonna fit😂 But are they well ventilated? How do they fare with the Florida heat and humidity?
Does anyone know if there is a chance they will build out the skyliner to reach the other parks, and maybe more resorts? Has this been discussed at all?
