One of the most powerful men within Hitler's Third Reich and his Nazi government was Joseph Goebbels, the Head of Propaganda. Goebbels would poison the minds of the population and he would be instrumental in instilling the Nazi Regime onto Germany. However in his final days, he along with Hitler would find himself inside of the Fuhrerbunker in Berlin as the Second World War was coming to an end. Alongside him was his wife Magda Goebbels, and the pair had a rather tumultuous relationship. Magda was married before, but she became obsessed with the Nazis and she herself was considered the best friend of Adolf Hitler.
Hitler would offer Magda relationship advice when her husband had a number of affairs with prominent actresses. She became 'The First Lady of the Third Reich,' and in her role would host dignitaries and other foreign ambassadors with her husband and also with Hitler. But she was a staunch Nazi, and would also commit a number of horrific crimes, with her worst coming inside of the Fuhrerbunker. Inside of Hitler's underground bunker following the death of Hitler, Magda Goebbels murdered her 6 children by poisoning them with cyanide. It's believed that she was the one who administered the poison after an SS Dentist gave them a sedative.
