I am deeply sorry for this oversight, I somehow always make the same mistake when I try to blur stuff. I'll be more thorough next time! 😅

@7:11 - To which I respond: "Thank you!" Endless sequels and reboots are an annoying travesty 😞 I consider Coraline to be a near-perfect film (not "child's" film or "adult" film, but film - period). I don't believe it needs a sequel because the story is as close to complete as possible. Sequels imply there's more an artist has to say about a character, world, etc. However, I don't feel that way at all about this movie. By the end of the movie the character of Coraline has learned an important lesson: to accept her life as it is, warts and all. She no longer needs to go off adventuring into strange (and potentially dangerous) new worlds, because she has learned to accept her own on its own terms, including both the negatives and postives of her parents, neighbors, and new-found friends. It wraps up neatly its theme of "be careful what one wishes for." A near-perfect ending IMO.
