The Divine Life of Animals: Do Pets Go to Heaven? 

Every single time I lose a beloved dog or any animal for that fact, a piece of my heart is chipped off. It literally feels like that. My heart will be made whole again when, in God's good time, am reunited with Him and my beloved animals. That is my unshakeable belief.

I lost my little ferret Skippy almost two years ago and still cry from time to time. She was my best friend for 10 years and I was blessed to have her and look forward to the day I see her again.

Jesus said God knows each sparrow: I believe he loves each one and will gather them all into his Kingdom one day and give them everlasting life.

I am Catholic and we have couple of Saints in our Catolic Church. One of them is San Francisco de Assis . San Francisco de Assis loved animals SO MUCH! The story says that one day when he went out to preach the Gospel of Christ no one wanted to hear him preach so he decided to go to a river and preach to the fish and ALL THE FISH would jump out of the water to herd the Gospel of Christ. He called the animals MY BROTHERS. There is another Saint San Martin de Porres he also loved animals .One day he saw a mouse trapped in a mouse trap and told him that he will let him go free but that he needed to go to the forest to tell all the mice not to come to that place anymore and that he ( San Martin) will be going to feed them at the forest and that was exactly what happened.

My 9.5 year old kitty - Angel died unexpected on Tuesday. I am living through a horror. Can't seem to pick myself up. The love we share (yes, still do) is just indescribable. It is one in a lifetime connection. Can't imagine that heaven would be full of flowers, trees, people, angels but not animals. Why would God have in heaven animals he creates just for heaven? My beautiful baby boy will greet me when I get there. In a mean time Jesus is comforting him on his lap and Angel knows more then ever how much he is loved and knows that I will be there with him as soon as God calls me home.

I had a Cattle Dog named Titus whom I loved to pieces. He passed away at just 17 months old from Epilepsy. That way 16 years ago. Shortly after he died I had this dream: I was standing on a beach, I have no idea where. There was a Driftwood log laying on this beach. Sitting on the other side of this log was Titus. He was leaning his chin on the log, facing me. I looked right at him-our eyes met, but he could not see me. On his face was the saddest expression I have ever seen on an animal. I heard Titus in my mind, asking: Where are you? Why haven't you come for me?" I'm 59 years old, prior military, and I tear up every time I have this memory. The second living thing I want to see after I meet Christ is TITUS!

Of course animals are going to be in Heaven !!! Ephesians 1 : 9 - 10 Colossians 1 : 19 - 20 Through Jesus Christ all animals, who are not fallen like humans, will be in Heaven with Him because of Jesus Christ's full redemption. Animals long to be with Him in Heaven. Make no mistake, God loves all of His creation, including His precious, delightful animals that He has made.

God wants us to be happy when we enter into the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, I am sure my pets will be going with me and the ones already there will be waiting for all of us to join together.

Every animal belongs in heaven there pure souls that will be one the jobs for us who get to live in heaven is to look after animals mostly we will be connecting our energy with god but other time we will be doing amazing jobs that fill the heart

I miss my Grandmother and my Dad very much. I also miss several very dear friends, but when I walk through the Gates of Heaven.....I want to see my cat, Rascal, first.

I just lost my Citron Cockatoo. I had her for 17 years and She will be missed. I'm sure she went straight too heaven and will be waiting for me when my time comes.

All life belongs to God and returns to God it's only the human race that's been given free will. It would be, in my opinion, arrogance on our part to think animals don't return to their maker. Animals are here to serve a purpose in one way or another a preprogrammed existence so to speak. I don't believe God would bother himself creating life just to have it destroyed in the end however, human beings were given an extra gift, the ability to choose from right from wrong to choose life or destruction. I've noticed that when the Lord refers to life it's, in almost every circumstance, is being referenced to "all" life. The Bible makes many references to animals in Heaven and even those who have had NDE's have stated seeing former pets and animals on the other side. Animals are mentioned from Genesis to Revelation. It's mentioned in the Bible that God sees the need of the sparrow and supplies those needs ... if animals were important enough to care for on earth don't you think God would want them back after their time here is done?

We are having to put our precious Lisa, a King Charles Spaniel that we rescued around the same time we rescued her companion another King Charles named Reuben who was devoted to my husband. I have been sobbing most of the day. Pray that we will see them in heaven.🙏♥️

I just lost my 🐈 to colon ailment. I didn't have a slightest hint that he was going to die so soon. He taught me that love is so unconditional, his meows freed me from frustration. He always rubbed his cute little head on my hands or on my feet. I just miss him sooo much and cry from time to time. I just believe that one day I get to see him again in heavenly abode. On the rare times that I do, they are all scrambled with several events throughout the day, they make no sense, and I don't remember them. I have now lost all 3 of my fur-babies, who are my family. I am watching these videos to uplift my own soul, not that I need confirmation that our precious fur babies, DO, in fact go to heaven because our beautiful 16 year old dog Prancer will be leaving this earth in two days and I'm heartbroken thinking about it. I will miss her so much. She lost the use of her back legs over the summer and we have been caring for her around the clock since then. She developed some kind of infection about six weeks ago, she has a discharge coming out of her urethra that has gotten heavier and heavier and she is down from 40 pounds to 24 pounds now. Her appetite is as good as ever but the vet said her body isn't absorbing the nutrients. I know that my dad, who passed on several years ago, will be there at the gate to meet her, our beloved Prancer.

Sorry for your lose. I have a black/shep. Mix who is almost 19. Bear Rug weighs 115 pounds. He is hind legs are paralyzed and I am not able to take him out ,due to degenerate spine disease.. I have tried to find d someone to help with a wheelchair for him. I can't afford to buy him one. They cost over half of my little income. NO ONE HAS OFFERED TO HELP US. Ecclesiastes 3:18-21 state that man & beasts are similar...both have spirits. Genesis 7:22 states both man & beast have the "breath of life"....Genesis 9:16-17. God is the God of ALL spirits (Heb 12:9, Eph 4:6). Man ate from the Tree of Knowledge of Good & Evil which opened their eyes to good & evil, and lost their relationship with God. Beasts didn't eat from that tree and don't have their eyes open in the same way man does; but their relationship is still constant; God feeds the birds of the air (Matt 6:26) & beasts (Ps 147:9) Jesus died for sins of man so that they could return to relationship with God...Jesus didn't die for animals because they didn't sin. Spirits can't die; they are eternal beings....hence man lives eternally in Heaven or Hell. Animals have spirits; not capable of sin & therefore not required to stand before Throne of Judgment. They simply enter Heaven in same way as Man was supposed to.

I've loved several dogs thru the years. But on Jan 29, my best ever dog died at 11 years old from poison in the sky. I feel assured that I will see him in heaven.

Animals have souls and every good soul goes to heaven.Even Pope Paul IV stated that,with Pope Francis recently empowering that statement.I believe in God and the Bible and while the Bible never quote-on-quote states that animals come to the afterlife like humans do,it is clear that God has created animals like he has created humans.He has given the gift of life to both and it is also constantly stated that he loves ALL of his creations.God knows what's best for everyone and I am sure that he knows that animals deserve to go to heaven.

My son and I have lost our beloved hamster tonight, he was suffering and so the vets put him down as he would only suffer on and die anyway,we both are totally heartbroken, my soul is so crushed. My son and I loved him and will always love him so much. I want to be with him again in heaven

All animals were created before us, humans were last. They have souls because I have seen the light go out of their eyes when they die. We have ruined this planet for all creation how much better it would be if we had not shown up.

When God spoke to Job in the midst of his trials, God spoke to him of his great fishes, the whales, he was asked if he was there when he created them. God was most proud of the animals he created. In a way I believe He is more proud of them than us, at least the animals haven't strayed so far from Him like humans have. I believe everything He made has a soul, even a tree or a flower. It's not a silly concept. Have you ever looked into the eyes of an animal and you relate to them as a fellow mammal? We find a way to communicate to each other, we find a way to love each other. Dogs and cats and other animals can understand simple commands from us, yes that is communication. I have looked into their eyes and no one can't tell me there isn't a soul there. I had two cats, each one lived to be over 20 years old, I would like to think that they are in heaven. God asks back the breath of every living creature on this Earth, man and animal, and have it back He will. Since we have been given the smarts and made in His image we will be most accountable out of any creature on Earth, and we should be. The lilies of the field are clothed, no sparrow drops to the ground without Him knowing. Read Genisis, the animals were here way before He even made man. Was man an afterthought or the finishing touch? Who knows? Perhaps biblical experts can weigh in on this opinion.

I loved all my dogs and cats and miss them so much. The Bible says the WHOLE creation awaits the new earth although I don't know the scripture by heart. I want Jesus Christ in Heaven far more than my pets but if they are there, I believe it will be one of those awesome surprises God has in store with mankind. If not, I know animals will be there and I personally want a lion, polar bear, dolphin and a kangaroo as my pets in Heaven. Snakes will be there too but, I'll leave them to others to enjoy. Can you imagine playing safely with a lion or hippo? Oh, and elephants and giraffes. Heaven will be amazing no matter what! God bless you. Have hope for our pets but the Bible is virtunally silent on the issue. Always go to the Word.

Reading these comments made me tear up. Heaven wouldn’t be heaven without my animal friends there.

So many have had NDE's and their pets greet them in heaven. I know they do. I've had many experiences with my pets coming back to let me know their ok. They visit me from time to time.

I hope the gosling who couldn't fly that we were trying to find a home for is happy and in Heaven - he was killed by a predator before we could rescue him. We had a home for him and I get choked up every day because he didn't get the chance to live a long happy life.

I believe in a Creator but I don't do religion, don't read the Bible, not sure about Heaven. Over the decades I've lost dogs, cats and horses - all of them very much loved. A couple of incidents stand out. In 1998 my Rough Collie Jesse died in the car on the way to the vet, he was 11. We brought him home and laid him out on a blanket in the sitting room. Then we went outside to dig his grave. He was a huge dog for his breed so it was a big job. Twice we came back indoors for a break and Jesse was lying on the blanket, he was dead but it was him. The third time, Jesse's body was still lying there but HE had gone. It hit me like a sledgehammer as I came into the room. From that moment I knew that animals have souls. In 2018 we lost LB, he was a German Shepherd cross. Afterwards, walking our other dog, there was a particular place where I would 'feel' him join us for about 25 metres. Just a few times and just for a few months.

We love our animals and they love us. Of course they will be in Heaven because love does not die ever.

I want to speak to you about my dog Tundra she passed away a couple years ago she was hit by a car in the middle of the night the driver never stopped my daughter ran to get hurt we took her to the emergency vet but unfortunately she had already passed she was only a little over a year old we had gotten her from a rescue for her mother and father were both fighting dogs and they had used her as a bait dog she was very timid very shy and scared of everything when we first got her she was 6 months old I would sleep on the floor with her and hold her near me to get her used to the fact that humans are mean about a week after she passed I was on my front porch sweeping porch we had a porch that was way up in the air and then it was like a bridge going over to the other side of the bank there was a Creek Running under that anyway I kept hearing this dog whimpering and crying and I didn't think there was any other dogs that live nearby so I couldn't imagine a dog being under my porch come to find out two houses down from me they did have a dog down there it was a gray and white Pitbull and my Tundra was also a pitbull this dog was down under my porch beside the creek and he was whimpering and crying when I saw this dog onto my porch I went down to him I told the seller come to me baby I will help you up the hill and he did he came to me and started climbing up the hill I almost fell and he stopped I grabbed his collar and he told me the rest of the way up the hill and he was so happy to see me like you knew me he then ran down into my backyard and I went after him and he was running Zumiez all through the yard like he knew me cuz that's what Tundra would do with me and then he started playing with me just like Tundra did and I knew that it was my Tundra she had come back to tell me goodbye and she let me know she was okay it was the most amazing thing I have ever experienced and I'll never forget it because I know my babies in heaven and I know she's okay because she came back to feel me so I just wanted to let everyone hear my story that has lost a pet so they will know that their pets are in heaven waiting for them too and they're okay

I'd love to believe this,I pray that it's true,but a question , what happens to all the we animals that are homeless and no.one to love them on this earth ?

I am sure that, someday, we will meet again and we will be together with them. They will be waiting for us there. All animals are God's creation. I dreamed of the dog that died, it was playing with many animals, in a field, it had friends and it was happy. He was playing with a bear and was happy that he had many friends. Then I dreamed that my parents (who died a long time ago) came and took him with them. They told me: From now on we will take care of him.

I wonder about wild animals or those used for food. I have always had a sneaky suspicion that the sacrificial animals are in heaven. Crazy idea?

What biblical references state that that animals are in heaven?yes many animals are listed as being present but are separated clearly by as not being human n without a soul.They are also never mentioned as being at judgement day.What happens to all the animals on earth that haven't become pets?

I suggest that anyone out thre who has lost a furry child or children to get the movie ' A Dogs Purpose'. It's about our furry kids when they are reincarnated.

Any kind of Eternal Existence without my dear creatures would be a form of Hell of one degree or another.

You understand, I know, that you pet's body hasn't "gone" anywhere. No body means no tail to wag, no vocal chords to purr, no ears to scratch, and no fur to stroke. Oh, and you won't have arms to hold it or hands to pet it because your body isn't going anywhere, either. So tell me again why you want your pet to go to heaven. (Or, for that matter, why YOU want to go to heaven.)

Humans are the sons and daughters of God, both evil people as well as righteous people. That said, God also created animals and He loves them as well. We have been charged to love and care for animals as they are created by the hand of God. We will be held accountable by God as in every aspect of our lives in how we respect his creatures. If one thinks that being mean or all out evil to an animal is not a sin, you are deceived by Satan and stand in need of repentance. Being kind to animals is part of our humanity.

Satan and demons will not be ‘uncreated’. They will go to a special place; the Lake Of Fire. Animals will not be uncreated either. Not sure if God can ‘uncreate’ what He has uttered into existence. Animals are innocents, and will be with God, and those who love God, for eternity.🕊
