I came to see if skill haste had a more effective benefit than just stacking skill power to reduce skill cool downs while simultaneously increasing skill efficiency, according to my hypothesis. Although, I didn't receive any information on that matter from this video.
Skill haste is by far one of the most valuable stats in the game in this meta since there are so many skills being popped all the time. Skillpower does very little for your cooldowns but then again its ment to increase the power of the skill. if you build skill power or not having short cooldowns is always good.
There are some new players or possibly people that haven't played in a long time, so it isn't that crazy that some people don't know about this. You even have people who don't go as in-depth as (apparently) you do. Nothing sad about it.
OfficialPucho why is it sad TROLL because people are just now trying out the game and don't know anything about it yet. I'm guessing you don't have a clue on how technical this game is if ur trying to be even viable in the DZ or laststand. I feel bad for you cause your probably dumpster juice anyways..
Great video! Very informative and even though I normally build Reclaimer or D3-FNC builds this really helps to understand the concept and adapt the High End gear towards these builds too.
1 of the most useful video's on utube ive been wastin alot of skillpower as ive overstacked everything not knowing a cap point. already started the changes thankyou
It is, but this depends on the build you're running. We are running it with our Firecrest build: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sMlmc-2nJZY.html
Great video but there are a few issues with some of the text overlay of formulas and other explanations. For instance on the slide with the specialized formula, you have two indications of the "x 2" representing the 200% multiplier. Also on the slide explaining skill haste origins, you listed rapid as procing whenever healing an ally, which I believe you actually meant to put in for the talent Triage. Rapid just applies to any and all healing skills, so it's not a conditional proc, just a categorizational proc. Not nitpicking, just wanted to make you aware in case you hadn't caught those minor things. Other than that, awesome content and keep up the good work man!
Can't say we've tested this. with 50% skill you'll get very close to the hard cap on the cool downs though, so i don't know if its still worth it when you have 50% skill haste.
another great vid, bro! Im actually using 2 Tact. + 3 Pred + skull MC Gloves with skill haste in every slot. Almost 50% haste to use with competent and adept in my MP5 and SASG (pulse and heal skills). Its wonderful.
Dude your skull gloves are useless.because you have active at least 2 bonus set active!!!.In order the skull gloves to work you cant have any set bonus active...
Seems alright but you aren't activating the MC Skull Gloves talent like this. you either need different gloves or try and switch out all the gear set pieces for high-end.
I'm running a hybrid build 4 tactician vigorous specialized. 7k firearms and 4900 electronics. 50% skill haste and I'm at 211k skill power. I pretty much always have my booster shot up which works well with vigorous. But would inventive backpack work for my build???
If you manage to stay at full health, which you should be able to most of the time with the Booster Shot First Aid, then Inventive would be better (as explained in the video you need a heck of a lot of Firearms for Specialized to be more effective than Inventive).
When it comes to the vest I'm stuck. I use 3 piece tak and Barrett vest. All gear specked into electronic and all modes are electronic with skill haste. I have used barret for such a long time it's very hard to stop using it. Think I'll try inventive tomorrow.
How Much skill power did you end up with? since this seems like you're over committing to skill power here. After the 450k you wont feel much difference in power increase.
***** I only get to 360k electronic. I'm trying something new today, still electronic build but with EAD and DTE. Might need more thought in the build.
Good and informative video, can u also explain how things like EDR and DTE works om your skills? I'd also like to know on wich skills they work and wich they won't.
be aware cool down is only considered after skillhaste has reduced the cool down so rapid suck if you have skillhaste. inventive + nimble and or vigorous for a hybrid build sounds good
We wouldn't say suck, but it's definitely less effective. Inventive and Vigorous are almost always a good choice. The same goes for Nimble now, but it's getting a nerf in 1.6.1.
you forgot about barrets vest: +10% and you mentioned that going full electronics is a death sentence but i gotta disagree: i'm sometimes running full electronics + relentless backpack + tact. with sticky and seekers and im easily soloing challenging missions
I don't like inventive as a solo player the 15% bonus isn't there when I'm healing. Specialized gives me a constant boost. Can see it maybe of use in a group tho. Also use full skill build to do legendary and 452k skill power is better than not going above 350k surely?
you recommend 350k Skillpower...with vigorous and inventive and unbuffed? that opens more possibility in building...now I play with 420k unbuffed with vigerous and inventive...like your video I got 70k to much?
Yea anything above 350K will make that you will go over the point where skillpower becomes less effective once you start stacking that buff. So when you have 350K you will hit that sweet spot and you get to spend some points in other stats
As far as we know it does, but it obviously affects your other skills. You can't decrease the cooldown of the Support Station as you are using it (since the cooldown hasn't even started).
Inventive is always better than specialized, though don't use inventive unless you have more than 200k skill power. If you are not going to use Inventive then don't use specialized either since it's overall reward is just not very good. It is most bennificial when haven't build electronic's at all and even then i don't think its worth it. Just look for some different pieces to get a talent on. The chest, holster and gloves have some good talents.
Iv got to the strange now that I just run with a fire turret and seeker mines but the only healing I use are med kits and link. At the moment my electronic is 300k and I can do some challenge missions on solo.
***** that's very true, we tried Warren gate on legendary and tried sitting back but that didn't go well, so we took the fight to them with fire arms and won.
oh really?! I had one piece of the armor set and never saw anything about wielding a smg with the shield? I guess i'll try it out, I do have a pretty badass pistol tho that destroys gold's in about 8 to 12 hits. But an SMG would be alot more fun, especially the smaller ones
Skill Power Heavy Builds are monsters....People dont seem to realize how much and Often Talented Procs.... Tactition Build with a Caducies and a Pulse Has kept my squad alive in pvp/pve
Seems like a strong tactic indeed, I've never really got into the true healing potential of the caduceus with a crit build. ( if you manage to get your pulse Cooldown of your pulse down to 20seconds or less you can have it up at all times which is very very good, easily achieved with the 50% skill haste cap.)
100% up time without pulse mods actually....with Support station ammo cache or Reclaimer....I only run Cadduceus with reclaimer build...pvp wise you just need cordination with teammates
Masterminds HD specialized rolled for sp and electronics is better and close to the full health buff from inventive I use them both trust me I'm the build god
we advice to use a Vigorous chest piece with inventive to proc it at all times, and th maximum amount of skillpower you can gain from the specialized talent on its own is a little less than 25k which in skillpower terms is very little. then the more electronics you build the less you gain from specialized since it scales on the other 2 main stats. so overall just not intended for skillpower builds. I'm not going to tell you to play differently im just saying that this talent is generally a bad pick.
Masterminds HD that's why i only use inventive when healing because vigorous complements inventive that way but if I was going full skill build assault style I would go specialized skill power electronics which gives just about as much skill power as inventive all the time
