I really Like what I see in the PTS Phase One. These are the Changes that is in the PTS right now...!!!

Can this reduce the striker usage? I mean OGs will go back to Rifles for sure.

@@fredrickwilliams3605 I don't think it will shake things by a huge margin but definitely will see people using Rifles more than AR builds since you can do great Damage from upto 60m range.

I don't like the build and spend mechanism. Wish we got sentrys call instead. I'd rather shoot and spread damage without gimmicks of stacks and tying the buff trigger to reloading.

It's about time man we waited for so long. I think too that the 25% is acceptable but i won't mind if they increase it or the weapon handling 😅😊🙏💪

I won't keep my hopes high they usually nerf it and then make it in live server. So expect 15-20% instead of 25% :D

high end gear do more dmg than this new gearset. Sad that developers don't even try there new gear... backpack and chest not even working

i think the new gear set is very much geared toward high rof high mag size rifles - like lightweight m4 or urban mdr. max stacks (with back pack) for the m4 (with a 50 round mag) is 150%. the urban mdr (40 round mag) is 120%

The problem is ppl don't realize that rifles never went anywhere at all Everyone got pampered by ST Elmo and the recent overhaul of buffs given to various ARs... Ravenous has always been my favorite exotic since i got it from the raid. Its the only unique one as well. Diamondback got that slight change because of how its talent is utilized in descent. The rooms can be too big and the talent might not mark someone rushing you, but will mark the furthest person

I always like rifle builds and that is why I still use my PFE improvised gear build with tons of regen at the same time while rocking the beautiful Ravenous ☺️

Ended up modifying your rifle build a bit (only because the "jerk" of firing a rifle never bothered me and I like using x8 or x12 scope). I did grupo chest with Focus, improvised gloves and Baker's Dozen with chc. I run it with either Coyote or Catharsis (depending on content). Was doing some heroic 4 directives roaming (events and cps) quite smoothly.

I think you would want the movement speed after you're pinned down by a whole bunch of enemies for a while. Cover to cover movement like this in PVE would be great.

It seems like a High End glass-vigilance build beats this new gear. By like 20%.

Was that tested with the glass cannon with the new gearset? I need to try it later. Also don't forget this gearset is also doing a huge job of reducing the recoil which is very important to land those quick shots from semi autos.

@@AnYTimeGaming no , just a red HE. 3 piece Providence, (gift and sacrifice) contractors, fox's, and ceska(or coyotes). Definitely agree with the handling part , makes hitting those shots easy , specially with 1886s.

@Snakes.StartToSing also rifles have that (gimpy small) CHD bonus which really should push you to a crit build, not a HSD precision build (like an MMR). Should be buffed to 45% or there abouts or changed to an amp like 12% DtA. I'm reserving judgement but the buff not kicking in til you reload and having it stuck with a fixed timer to dump rounds with the buff is just lame.

They need to take the timer off , it actually kills the gear set when using a rifle with a bigger mag size . I would also like to see the MMR switched to Pistol .

New brand set looks decent, not going to save rifles, but its okay. The new gearset is DOA. The buff is ADDATIVE, is up maybe 40% of the time and forces you to pull you shots and wait for burst windows like umbra. I can do more constant DPS with my current high-end build. Just FYI the 2 pc is still bad, 2pc Walkers will do more damage because of the 24% more CHD.

I dont want this rifle set the way it is. Uptime is low. They havent fixed not being able to spam at cyclic RoF, which large mag/high RoF rifles are advantaged by. But also increases the time between buffs. Its like frenzy where dumping mags is rarely the context of a weapon to make the mechanics "good". IMO this set will just drive me to use more semi auto rifles with determined and headhunter (ie more raw rifle damage bonuses now or even stronger SVD).

Content wise we get nothing so I can see what you mean. Hopefully they will in PTS phase 2 since we are getting those exotics with some Movement speed Buffs and De-buffs they gotta be useful somewhere right?

@@AnYTimeGaming nah, not for me. I'm a run and gun so anything rifles or marksman is useless to me as for the exotics scorpio is still #1 and the knees are useless in PvE. I don't do PvP because is a train wreck.

@@AnYTimeGaming Movement speed debuff... but scorpio from shotgun type weapon stop them from daze + shock status. And kneepad, maybe pair with umbra gear set? Since you stopped on cover anyway to heal and for rate of fire buff.
