Technician is definitely my favorite specialization to run, especially for skill builds👍. Great informative video as always. Would you do a deep dive into firewall and gunner? I have a pretty solid build with firewall but gunner I'm not sure what and how to run gunner effectively.
EMP grenade helps flush enemies out of cover even if it does bugger all to damage or debuff them. Although if you're chucking a grenade to do that it might as well be one of the basic ones
I like the idea of specializations but they need a re work in my opinion. When they added the flexibility to add 15% damage to any weapon and not just certain types that just negated that whole area. Its now just a pain to remember to switch weapon types. The unique mods are only good for a couple specializations the others are meh.
My thoughts Its a difficult decision for me to choose this or demolition specialization when using seekers .. i choose the technician when using combine arms talent on backpack and use the technician hive ..and no other skills ... Now if i was using seekers i could use the mods for the hive in technician to use on the stinger to make it much better .. but the explosive damage from the demolition is missing .. but i do have stronger skill power using technician ... now if u was going with a hybrid dps build then u need to use the technician to gain extra skill power ..and use the laser pointer to pulse NPC with use spotter chest talent to gain extra weapon damage ...... so i guess it comes down to which do u purfer extra skill power or explosive damage ?? what i do wish they do is to remove the locks so u could use skill healing and skill damage at the same time ..
One thing I forgot to mention is I'm not a fan of the locked skill tree. Imo you should be able to have both skill damage and skill healing. Also I think the laser pointer should of ended up with the sharpshooter spec since it would go hand and hand with the technician drone. The specs were a good idea, but poorly executed in some areas and could use a rework.
I'm a fan of the locked tree there should be more options and you can only take a choose making for more builds. The only thing I would change is being able to save a class build qith your gear load out save without having to go back to Whitehouse. Having different build designs makes the game more fun.
I'm surprised you didn't mention anything about the waveform holster which is probably best in slot with skill builds right now. The momento is good for the attributes and can synergies well with empress since you will have 60% skill efficiency if your at skill tier 6. Problem is it's harder to pick up backpack trophies in legendaries. Unless you're using some kind of face/tank high armor/quick armor regen build.
For solo play, waveform doesn't come close to touching memento. The long term buff alone outperforms waveform and is easy to keep up. Group play is where waveform takes the lead. No competition for kills and trophies to get the buff.
Idk why people don’t like Artificer. My skill build is Turret, Artificer Hive, Kinetic Momentum, and Tech-Tupport with max skill damage rolls I know randoms with skill build enjoy running with me.
