Not interested in the new "Range Game" the devs are in love with (including the gear set) but that new holster has really grown on me. Knowing I can swap from large mag to damage buff just as a Named is about to get into the open and rip him to pieces is adding a new dimension to encounters. I can either start an engagement with a large mag or burst damage depending on the encounter. This new option is a welcome change.
I did it differently. I have 5 items of the Virtuoso set, the sixth thing is an Airoldi backpack, damage from a sniper rifle and with the talent "Vigilance". My first weapon is the SR-1 sniper rifle. With the talent "Determination", my second weapon is the Pulimet Mor. I do this: with a sniper rifle at a distance of more than 20 meters, I kill a red NPC and then switch to the sea and scatter the NPCs, the damage from pestilence reaches a million. i feel like, instead of "killing" how about "hitting", killing is huge amount task and considering the range and how enemy act suppressed, hiding always like controller, or sniper that only occasionally shown up head.
I havent used this gear set yet but i have been farming it for proficiency or resources on countdown. I hope to make a build on it in the future. Possibly with strikers or ceska
