Unfortunately, the blueprint rewards are level specific to the zone you get them in so regardless of level you'll be getting that exact reward. So if you are already level 30, and go for the AUG it's still going to be for lvl 19. Best to just do the missions in level order to include encounters and work your way around the map clearing an area at a time.

Once you do all of the side missions in that area, go back to the safe house and talk to JTF officer, he gives you the blue prints and experience. SIDE NOTE: some side missions like the find a missing person type will have more than one part, and sometimes takes you in to another district. However you have to complete them to get the blueprint

You can get the blueprints form side missions, but that is not always purple. The best way to do it is level to 30 for darkzone and you can buy the purple weapon, gear or blueprint at the shop. Recommend do it with team.

i actually do all things in solo mode, i like the whole game not just the dark zone, good video.

I'm now level 24, all purple with 1300+ firepower and 48000+ primary DPS. The only way to achieve this is to level up to rank 30 in dark zone and buy what DZ merchants offer. It's a little time consuming since you have to traverse all the checkpoints and hideouts in DZ to get what you need but it's worth it if you and your friends want to rule the PvP.

In my first playthrough I did all side missions first in the area then the difficult mission, and I always outleveled by 2-3 levels the missions

I'm curious who is skipping side missions? They're the fastest way to level up.

I highly recommend saving phoenix credits for the Vector 45 ACP blueprint. I got it, it has 8 or 9K damage per shot. It absolutely melts enemies. I almost have it up to 100K DPS.

If u are good at RPGs u know that u should not ignore side missions those are how u rank up faster

Do you want to wait until level 30 to do all of the districts? Does this matter for what level of blueprints you get?

i recommend lvl up first then do side missions that way you get level 30 crafting gear

I've done almost all the side missions and this us definitely a solid way to get superior gear and weapons. My first crafted item was the superior Aug A3

do the blueprints scale with you? A level 19 aug is useless to me.

You can also replay some missions that u have already done on hard and u will get a purple item but it is totally random I've done this a couple of times and got purple vest and sub machine gun

He is wrong in this video. Gear items you get from side missions are not always set, they are sometimes based on your level. I did all the side missions the Gramercy disctrict and I did not get a purple vest , 4:24 I got a green vest and I was level 15. this video is somewhat invaild.

I got a purple backpack diagram from an early game area. can't remember which on it is but I will us this method to get that Aug.

I wish this game were FPS and then jump to 3rd person when behind cover. That would be sweet.

This comment is just meant to be helpful criticism. I think your videos would benefit big time from improving your voice-overs. By that I mean, speaking naturally. A lot of your voiceovers sound like a news anchor from the 80s. This type of inflection is super common in youtube gaming videos, but you need to change the inflection of your voice during words. For instance, you seem to change the inflection for multiple words in every sentence that you think is are highlights. Which works well if you are reading from something, or to a group of people... but it doesn't sound natural. Example. starting at @1:11 Listen to how you say "Random reward" "Base of operations" "go here" "Craft" "actually" "purple chest piece" . Don't get me wrong, stressing words is extremely important when you are trying to do a video like this, but when your put extra stress on every other word, or more than half of the words in a sentence it sounds unnatural, and lessens the impact of the advice your giving. just my opinion.

I noticed something doing these sidemissions before i saw this video - they scale a bit. i was level 26 and was running around in one of the low level districts to get a blueprint for a weapon part and the enemies and loot drops were level 22-25, while the area itself said its level 5-9 and so on. So i would recommended doing them when you are familiar enough with the game. i wouldnt be surprised if the higher level blueprints variants would unlock as you progress.

I'm still too broke to get this game......Damn your vids make me feel like a junkie with withdrawals.....

Why is it that everything is rank 30 to buy. I don't have too much time sometimes and i'm only at like 16 in the dark zone. I have money but nope, gotta be 30.... >:( At least make some rank 20...

Are blueprints already determined to a certain level? I mean, will the blueprint level would change based on my level when i complete them? (Should i wait till i reach level 30 before finishing them?)

How about just play the game and you'll get stuff eventually, why do people need gear so damn quickly take your time. RPGs are not supposed to be easy and quick to finish that type of game style is for linear games...this genereation

@KackisHD At around Level 30 he sells the pakhan and the Double Barrel Shotgun out of the Open Beta ist atelast Currently Like that also ( both weapons are around 400.000 credits though ) also at around Level 30 you find in the dark Zone at random enemies or npcs better said sometimes Purple Stuff or Weapons Also the Dark Zone Trader in the Safehouse in the Darkzone Level 30 up to the Top sells currently an highend M249

Always do the "Side Missions." They give more XP than the base ops wing support missions. Like any vertical progression game, that super amazing epic purple smg the author was touting, will be replaced rather quickly.

I unlocked the advanced armory security perk but I'm only getting blue stuff. Does your level have to be high enough to get the purple gear?

Every sense the new incursion update (1.2) and caches... All you need to go is go to a subway, find a large Cleaner that is named... and then lead him outside, and shoot him. Because he only has a flamethrower, pull out your sniper rifle/long range MG- and then shoot him. People like this found in the subway in the easy level 30-30 areas are super easy to kill if you follow my tactic, and will drop either purple or high-end gear caches. I got a high end vector- AND a purple gear cache from one of them.

Is there a yellow/gold aug? I used one when I started but in DZ purple aug is crap.

Finally someone who explains and shows at the same time. Not "I am on level 30 and this is what you need to do to start building your character from level 4".

I'm curious if the blueprints from these zone awards are level capped, for example: Lvl 19 for your AUG because that was your level when you completed it vs. a level 30 player getting a level 30 AUG blueprint. That would be some real incentive to delay on a quest turn in if you're looking for a long term gun of a certain make you can re-roll to get good stats.

You're wrong, depending on what level you do the side missions at determines if you get a blue or purple

This really works after doing this for like 1 or 2 areas i went from 10 to 13 with only side missions

I went to the JTF officer in the flatiron district and i got the side missions then they disappeared off my map and i can't find them I go back to the officer and I can't get them back again.

i have a high end vector blue print and it says that i can get 9.5k - 10k DMG but i carfted three time and the highest that I get is 8.9k DMG. Why is it lower than the range from the blue print?

I dont have so much money so Im thinking do I want to buy the division or will I save for the Horizon zero dawn?

completed side missions in flatiron district but did not get the people blueprint. there are no missions let in flatiron. cannot interact with the the jtf officer in the safe house.

Wouldn't it be better to wait until you are max level to get the purple blueprints, or do they scale to your level once obtained?

just a quick question regarding the actual armor people wear. do you guys focus on the "armor" points or the how much it contributes to DPS, health and electronics? I was solely focusing on armor points before and later on I realized the latter.

Does the level you finish the last quest affect the level of the crafting blueprint?

So is this gun only good for level 19s? Or if I craft it at level 30 do u get a level 30 version of it?

Any area provides purple gear. I just did the lowest level I could find and got a m4a5 or something

Just hit DZ 50 last night and got myself the gold/yellow (whatever you wanna call it) Aug. so much fun to use.

I have modified Aug... in total for me it does 12K damage with a headshot ^^ and the firerate is buffed with a purple magazine mod.

Just hit lv 30 today. Gonna do this to get the damascus crafted on my lv 30 then start leveling up my second character, a level 2 based on walter white. Thanks m8!

mate i did it all the side for the vest, but when I try to do side mission for the Aug I can't do it. In the map I can't see the side mission but I can see them in the list of the mission and their color is grey and not light-blue like the other side mission I can see on the map.i went in the safe house but I can't speak with the mate for the side mission and I can't read the map In the safe house...any suggestions?

I watched this video and was obsessed to get the Aug but I played the game normally and pretty soon I got a lot better gear than the Aug and it was easy. Just play the game guys, and you will not regret this decision!

I'm a completionist, I have done almost all the side missions, and have done barley any main missions, I hate having side missions on my map.

Are the purples a set level? Basically wouldnt matter what level you are when you did side missions.

side mission give great gear, if your low level do side mission and encounters first, i have 1 lvl 30 1 lvl 21 1 lvl 14 already using this method. i have sold items to vendors to try and get high end gear vs breakdown for crafting material. crafting was much faster for me so i agree with the video.

What about when I hit lvl 30 and I have the purple from a lower level. Can I redo the side missions if I want the same purple but with lvl 30 stats?

if I'm level 11 and do all the side missions of flatiron district, will i still get the AUG A3?

Not all of them gives purple blueprints for completing side missions, some give just blue ones. My sister got some, actually most blue for clearing all side missions in a district.

you mentioned only needing to be lvl 19 to use the Aug, however, I believe the lvl of the schematics scale according to your lvl. meaning it would be better to wait to complete the side missions until after you are high lvl

Should I be selling armor/weapons at low levels for cash or dismantle them for resources? Ive been dismantling them and im not sure if that's a good thing.

I actually recommend doing the first zones and easiest zones first or else the loot will be useless down the road. When you do it first, everything you get is relevant and in a nice progression up the ranks. Do easy first, go hardest when its hardest.

I restarted a new game and got the aug, it was just so-so, I’m more of a sniper. I found a 20k damage double barrel handgun at level 22. A drop in time square. A 22k shotgun, 4.5k assault rifle , and 19k marksmen rifle that head shot for 45k. All weapons are green except the assault rifle is blue. All way better than aug. The Aug lasted 3 side quests.

I almost ignored all the sides, but I'm 24 now... The first time exp reword for completing a challenge mission can always give me a instant lvl up.

The earlier districts up to Clinton does only reward blue blueprints from my experience on PC.

Im level 27 now and did all side missions so far. I just complete one map at a time. So sidemissions, main story and then collect all phone recordings, drones, reports etc.

i may be wrong but i think all the districs on the left side of the map drop blues when fully done all the ones on the right drop purples

I’m trying to talk to the guy with the AUG and it isn’t working I talked to him and I can’t again I don’t if I unlocked the mission and it it’s on my map I need help

When it's an alt character, you probably have all the blueprint on the main char, you can craft them from it then send it to the stash, that is how i've made mine.

i have been doing all the side missions the whole time just for the extra xp. also i have been breaking down all the green materials to make blues you just need 5 greens to make a blue, and 5 blue to make a gold material. i have been doing this instead of selling loot so i have a shit ton saved up for when i get to higher levels. i'm level 16 right now. pretty much i break down everything i am not currently using since later on i will get better stuff anyway
