When grooving on a weak lathe, it is useful to attach the groove tool upside down. This was taught to me by a viewer. I may make a video explaining why this, is effective.
Great video content!... I've been a multi axis programmer for over 30years you produce great work. Just one note would you not agree the grooving tool cutting action should have the cutting forces growing down into the solid bed. Rather that trying to lift the slide causing bouncing. Just for reference we part of 22mm hex 316 stainless in 7secs with iscar 3mm blade. Tool life 300 off parts we have dont much research to achieve this. Machine is a Miyano ABX triple turret nice machine. Keep up the good work what you have achieved is amazing, do you want a job at my place?... ha ha
