19 3/4 is a very nice Smallie. Would have been a perfect day without a hook in the hand but that happens. Great fishing.

Congrats on that awesome smallmouth Scott. I dread the day a get “treble hooked”, I know it’s coming eventually. That kind of stuff makes me queezy 😂.

Some nice fish, but hate those hook removals. Sometimes they are deep so glad that one came out relatively easy

I tell ya, thats a big part of the reason I seldom use treble hooks. I'm not sure if thats what got ya, but ouch either way. I'm a member of the "past the barb" club myself. Y'all are getting good at it 🤣

That was a hog there Scott, 19 3/4” ….beauty! Right there is why I don’t like trebles and prefer soft baits with a single hook. Doing most of my fishing solo, I don’t need to try to remove a crankbait from my hand or leg or any other part of my body but I know it’s bound to happen sooner or later.
