I love this friendship because they keep treating each other like dumbasses while being incredibly supportive at the same time

Can we all take a moment to consider that after _The Husbands of River Song,_ Nardole travelled all the way to The Library, just to retrieve River’s diary, just to dramatically read it to the Doctor’s face?

God I miss this duo. Honestly I just miss the whole season 10 team.

I adored Nardole. He was sarcastic, not afraid to talk back to the Doctor or kick his ass, but still respected the Doctor all the same.

4:27/4:28 love how Bill is just sorta standing there slack-jawed and the Mistress AKA Missy just sort of walks past with her mouth open and taps under her own chin and closes her mouth just that little subtle cheeky "Close your mouth dear we are not a codfish"

With the exception of Paul McGann not getting at least 1 season as The Doctor, the biggest "what if" missed opportunity Doctor Who will ever have was Capaldi not getting a 4th season as The Doctor with Missy as his companion (alongside Bill and Nardole). I feel that would have been the ultimate TARDIS team as you would have the tragic hero (Capaldi knowing it's his final season), the romantic foil (Missy trying to be The Doctor's friend again), the exposition (Bill), and the likable comic relief (Nardole).

We need more companions like Nardole, one that's not just another earth human, being in awe about anything the doctor does

I loved Nardole. i think he's my fave companion character. I loved the fact that he DIDN'T want to go on adventures, he just wanted to relax and hang out at the university and have tea, but he felt obligated to watch after the Doctor. It created a great character dynamic, and he and Capaldi played off each other perfectly.

Nardole is so underrated. I absolutely love him.

I can’t believe to this day how much I enjoyed Nardole post-Husbands of River Song. I HATED him in that special, and then he became a truly phenomenal part of one of the best TARDIS teams there’s ever been.

Nardy was honestly the perfect comedic foil to 12’s grumpiness

Peter Capaldi and Matt Lucas had amazing chemistry, and Pearl Mackie was just as wonderful with them. Haven't seen actor chemistry like that since Tennant and Tait.

12 will always be my favorite Doctor. He was awesome! A bit Malcolm Tucker and a lot of Time Lord. I only wish we could have been introduced to his family when he returned to Gallifrey; he had waited so long for them; the return seemed a bit callous.

Series 10 has to be my favourite series, Peter capaldi really shined in this series I just wish we got one more series with The doctor, Bill and Nardole

Nardole is certainly the mother of twelve, they both liked each other but kept disturbing each other, twelve was always stubborn and nardole always reprimanded him for something he had done wrong.

Nardole was definitely one of the best. They were just 2 friends who constantly made fun of each other and pretended to not be friends.

I think Nardole is one of the few companions who is the Doctor's equal.

This is so good! Nardole and Doctor 12 were so much fun together. Bill was an added bonus to me along with Missy!

I absolutely loved Nardole, great addition to the Tardis crew and I hope we get more companions that aren't just Modern Day Human. Obviously we'll always need one as the audience stand it, but still.

It took me a little while to warm to Nardole, but once he began travelling with the Doctor and Bill full-time, I grew to love him. By the end of the series I didn't want him to go! He had a very unique relationship with the Doctor. Their friendship felt really special because it was River Song who brought them together. And I think the way that he called the Doctor "sir" was rather sweet.
