I understand where shes coming from. I was diagnosed with asthma at 4 and they plumped me up with all those steroids.😂 I was 199 in 5th grade. My doctors never mentioned anything to my mom because it was "just the steroids". When I turned 14 I realized that I ate SO MUCH MORE than probably an average adult it wasnt just the steroids. I reached my heaviest of 235 lbs at 15. Just turned 16 and I'm 25 pounds down😭. All ya gotta do is eat right I swear it makes such a big difference.

Ashley keep on working on the healthy diet. I’ve had to be on steroids too, and it really does cause some people to blow up. But we can take charge of our diet and do our best, and sometimes when I’m eating better the inflammation goes down & I need less meds anyway !

The Chinchilla Diary i mean i was underweight as a kid, but if you asked what i liked to eat i would have said pizza and ice-cream. But my mom had us on a very healthy diet. Heck I probably only had pizza twice a year. However she clearly does/did mostly eat junk

John Wick Actually if you knew my story, Then you'd know that I have 2 Rare Conditions (Hereditary Angioedema type 3 and Mastocytosis Look them up before you make another comment.) that are Incurable that I've had since birth, Along with Asthma, POTS, Addisons, And ADD. To Add to that, I was on Prednisone for 9 Months when I was 9, Which made me gain 40 Pounds Due to the High dose. I'm 12 Now, and Have a portacath, I can't go to school, I have 1 Amazing Friend who is a guy, (I but Idc He's Nice to me😊) And I don't get to leave the house unless it's Church, even then I have to wear a Mask. Not to mention I was Home Bound for 3 YEARS From the ages of 6-8 years old. So unless you've been in my shoes, Please don't comment stuff like that. My Life is hard enough as it is, and My comment actually made a Few people laugh.😀

Exactly bc when I was a child (age 7) I was diagnosed with asthma. I was considered a severe asthmatic until I was 24 and being on the steroids and breathing medications never attributed to weight issues. She forgot she was talking to Drs.

I was so skinny when I was really little that my mom had to fix my clothes with a sewing machine to make them smaller. I ate a lot but remained the same. This was until I had big asthma issues and got on medication with an inhaler. By the time I was 8 years old, I had to lose like 30 pounds. I lost the weight, but the point is that I didn’t have that weight until years of asthma treatment.

Both of my older brothers had athsma growing up. My mom took the advice from her son's doctors and made them joins sports, walk to school, play outside ect. By 15yr old, they both were freed from Athsma

I Had asthma my whole life, it doesn’t cause kids to be obese. I ate healthy and exercised everyday. It’s totally on her mother for feeding her that way. Alana is beautiful! She needs to do something for her health. She’s huge and will be bigger than her mom some day if she doesn’t make a change. She could become immobile or die from being obese.

Ok, here's the Oreo one... Oreos, oil, type 2 diabetes, heart murmurs, pancake batter, and a sprinkle of heart disease. Toss them into a deep fryer at 350 degrees fahrenheit for 15 minutes and have a prepared rascal within 5ft., trust me you'll need one after you're done.

I have respiratory problems, asthma, and several inhalers I have to use every day. I’ve also been on steroids, none have which made me overweight. Mama June could care less about her daughter, only cares about her own weight. If she really cared she’d limit food and starts making her eat healthy.

So Alana was nine years old in this video, she is twelve now. It is Aug 2018, I just watched the TV show "Mama June From Not To Hot" and have seen Alana there. She is more obese now, so what went wrong??? I am a retired nutritionist and I can't believe all the experts failed Alana? If you are an expert, how can you fail? Is a doctor sick, is a lawyer in jail, is an accountant bankrupt, is a house builder homeless, is a shoemaker walking barefoot? Common, you either are an expert or not!
