i have watched this video almost everyday for 3 months. this video helped motivate me to get onto my college track & field team this semester. i get my workout schedule from the coach tomorrow and i will be the newest member of the track & field/XC team!!! thank you so much Aarondogg411
trevin gilpin 8th hahaha : ) I ran a 13.25 last year in 7th grade in 100m and it was actually my first sport and first year in track. I am pretty sure that is just below average, right? I didn't use starting blocks, though. How many milliseconds do you think I could shave off if I practice with starting blocks?
this is a very well made video; the picture is very crisp and clear; the soundtrack suits what is being depicted and times well with the action; the music is also appropriate; the persons who put this together know what they are doing.
Thank you! I watched you and ianclarke2's video this morning. I love that this video is inspiring not only track and field athletes of all ages but inspiring people to make videos as well. I believe that if we show track in a more cinematic way then maybe we can raise more interest in the sport. The kind of interest that track deserves.
+VinylUnboxings +linglingjr I initially went to a 10k/yr High school so I can run track, Those previous injuries ( Broken pelvis, ankle & Herniated L4,L5, Shin splints) prevented me from doing so. I came senior year to run track after I was all healed and from becoming the 2nd fastest person freshmen year, running a 59 Second 400m in 8th grade then coming to senior year as one of the slowest people just discouraged me from running mentally. I know people will say you'll have to work to get where you were before but I know that I'll push myself too hard to get back to that level and I'll end up hurting myself, I quit my journey of running. I am now committed to Cortland Univ. and will be doing casual running and Mens Club Gymnastics :)
