Classic Track of 'Dogg Food'. Daz kills this track, this is certainly one of the best West Coast albums ever, I personally put this over 'The Chronic'.
This takes me so far back... im 40 years old now....remember being about 12 years old...sneaking out the house bumping this in my Walkman....later in my life I got to meet the dogg pound and this music became the soundtrack of my life....now im just a old man throwing this on.....reminiscing of the good old days....
Yeah man I was 13 and a graffiti artist- sneaking out the house to go tagging and same thing as you- I had my walkman (which was a tape walkman- which turned out better than the later cd Walkmans that jumped while jumping over fences and running away from security guards)

My pops used to blast this out of those old big Optimus Speakers when this came out. That bassline always made me nod my head even as a youngin'. I'm from Jersey but this west coast G-Funk will always be loved all over the world!

Got my rise and paid for private school and college myself. Got my degree, hustled and made it in life. I'm 30 years deep and still riding to this classic bc it helped my rise.

Being raised on the Eastside of Long Beach this album is priceless to me. This album was lightyears ahead Of its time based off the production value that was created by Daz. This album perfectly embodies the east side of Long Beach to a perfect rhythm!
One of the songs that define the west coast man. Love it. I wore this album out back in the day, an all time classic. Man i can't tell you how much i miss the 90's.

@@terrencehughes6412 actually i had 8 pack of 12" Pioneers IMPP speakers in a special built cabinet that fit snug behind the back seat. 4 facing upward and the other 4 was facing towards the back seat. And i had two of the old school Rockford 800w egg shaped punch amps for the speakers. And i had the top of the line V12 Alpine pushing my 3 way highs and mid speakers. And also i had the Pioneer DEH P88RSll detachable face radio with the P9200 DSP EQ also was detachable face. My car was a root beer color with the gold and chrome dayton's with vogue tires. Man i got so much p*ssy because of that car... 😆😆😆
This album can't be played without skipping (as well as Chronic 92', and Doggystyle). Daz is slept on as a producer, and this album should've been labeled as a classic like the other two.

When nate started singing, his voice touched every heart of the ghettos Across america dreaming of escaping and being surrounded in beautiful places and being free from the anguishes of being at the bottom and being treated like a scrub. This song also deserved a nate solo. The chimes on the song with his voice hit hard.

daz is slept on man. he wasn't really lyrical but his voice stood out and flowed dope. kurupt deserves all his props but daz is like the big boi of Dogg pound. underated
Steven Adams The girl singing also makes the song so nice. They need to give her credit. Nate Dogg does his thang as well. Hell I think he sings just as Luther Vandross or Freddie Jackson.
I was a teenager when I heard this song. From the 90s up to now 2019 I still listen to this song everyday it's the beat the way it sounds nothing like this and how the way they rap over the music on point this song won't never go out of style
haven't heard this song for ages. so fresh to listen to. what a tune. the beat and lyrics were epic. one of the best tunes on the album. The album was solid throughout. the song definitely has that summer feel to it. driving among tall hills in a remote area. Props to The Tha Dogg Pound

I’m mad late to the party but f it better late than never ! Sad thing is, I had this album as a teenager back in the 90s but I only listened to Let’s Play House and a few others that hit the radio. Now years and years later I’m discovering this and my God I can’t stop playing it! Eastcoast head here preciating the West!

I bought this cassette when I saw it on my first (only) libo, in Marine Bootcamp at Camp Pendleton on our visit with our family the sunday before graduation. My family couldn't afford to travel down south, n I told um not to come - I'd see them just a week later when I graduated. I hid it in my footlocker for a week (hoping they didn't make us dump our shit out in the middle of the squadbay (if I would've been caught!!!!). When I heard this song, it made me feel like I was on top of the world. I hit rewind on this track, over n over.

JMC JOSE this album was so slept on. Daz has always been a underrated producer and rapper and kurupt has always been a underrated MC. One of the last G-Funk albums.
Ari Howard for sure. Daz on the mic is underrated. hella smooth. wish he would trade nowadays with kurupt. kurupt raps lazy and Daz raps with alot of energy nowadays. it was better reversed
