I was thinking Brendan Gleeson as King K Rool. Since the evil croc king has a British to Irish accent and his awesome performance as Mad Eye Moody from Harry Potter had given the impression that he can nail an unhinged dangerous villain like Rool.
Another idea for Donkey Kong Movie is mini games so reason why every time they do Mini game they get reward then later on movie Donkey kong learns that he needed that rewards from mini games just like in Donkey Kong games
Donkey Kong Movie should be in the works with Seth Rogen because Donkey Kong defeated Mario and then Donkey Kong joined forces with Mario in Super Mario Bros because I think that Super Smash Bros Tv Show or movie should be up next with illumination and live action all together
They should treat the blast barrels as the form of transportation in Dk island similar to how the warp pipes are used in the mushroom kingdom. I was hoping that dk island was more primitive and rustic in looks similar to what we see in the dkc games. I feel the dk movie should take place before the mario movie. It would show us how dk became a celebrity, how cranky became king, why dk island has its own army (the threat of the kremling crew being the reason) and maybe it could show us how the island became pretty updated with the racer factory for example. I’ll also like to see the origin of dk and diddys friendship

Hey we heard rumors when nintendo and illumination is planning a sequel to super mario bros movie like super mario bros 2 movie when bowser is defeated by mario and donkey kong thanks to him we heard bowser is being replaced by king k rool who are stronger than like bowser are in a first movie so we are excitited to this movie and mario and donkey kong must save kongo land from king k rool with wario and waluigi beside and yoshi is a new character in this movie i think so lets a go and happy mario 10 day everyone

That wouldn’t happen, unless there’s another Super Star hidden in the jungle and he transforms into Super DK and then he battles King K Rool in an ultimate epic, and intense final battle. Maybe the audience in the theater will go crazy, go like “DK! Kick his butt! Give it to him!” Like people do when they watch the WWE
The original Donkey Kong Country game by itself would make perfect sense as a buddy road trip comedy/action adventure movie, the major focus would be on the bond between DK and Diddy and would have parallels with Indiana Jones and Short Round in Temple of Doom. I also think a quest to recover the Kongs' stolen Banana Hoard from the Kremlings would be better than going after the Crystal Coconut. K. Rool could even be using the Banana Hoard as Bait to lure DK and Diddy into increasingly deadly traps.
I was thinking of having this quest to be more thrilling and amazing. Maybe DK, Diddy and their DK Crew friends (Chunky, Lanky and Tiny) would go after not only their Banana Hoard but also have to save Cranky and the other Kongs from K Rool and his Kremlings before everyone starves and before K Rool blasts their island into oblivion with the super weapon he uses in DK64. Also since DK started out as an ape who kidnaps a damsel. It should be noted, that as a future ruler of the jungle, he must bring Pauline back home to fix his mistake of ever kidnapping her. So the major focus in the film would be of DK’s relationships with Diddy and Pauline
@@mayracordero382 I think it should be both a little bit of a prequel and more of a sequel. In the prologue, baby DK was born and then a few years later he’s being trained to be a great fighter growing up and then on his own account did three heroic acts that earned him his signature red tie with the letters of his name on it when he was only 9 years old. Then met little 2 year old Diddy Kong who looks up to him and DK took one look at Diddy and just knew. He took him in as his best buddy and sidekick. Then they meet their other friends, Chunky, Lanky and Tiny and together they formed the DK Crew. Now we bounce to the real plot of the movie which is a sequel to the Mario movie. DK is still frustrated that Mario has beaten him in their fight and thinks that his victory over him has taken his dignity, and he hasn’t matured enough to make Cranky Kong see him as a true hero, Cranky still sees his son as someone who has a lot to learn. So he keeps on training. But one night, he and Diddy decide to sneak out of the Jungle Kingdom for some fun, and to find Mario to challenge him for a rematch. They go to Brooklyn via warp pipe disguised as 1930’s private eyes. They were searching for Mario until they got distracted by the sight of a newly opened jazz club that was as grand and shiny as can be. They loved jazz music so they went in. A show that was the main event of the evening was about to start. The guests said that their mayor was performing. DK and Diddy laughed at this. They thought a male tubby mayor was gonna sing. Some entertainment alright they thought and they wanted to see how it goes. So they sat in their seat smugly. Until the curtains parted and who was in the spotlight? Mayor Pauline of course! DK was surprised.
Part 2: As Pauline sings her heart out beautifully, DK looks on entranced by her beauty and her voice. He was immediately smitten with her, regretting his misjudgment and Diddy watches flabbergasted also looking back at his misjudgment. The party is in full swing. People stood up and danced to Pauline’s music. Even Donkey Kong joined in and pulled off some incredible dance moves of his own which no man has ever used before. Because he was still disguised, nobody recognized he was an ape but some were suspecting about his non-human moves, they believed only an ape can pull it off. Nonetheless DK won over the audience and especially Pauline. Pauline even asked for his name as she noticed the letters “DK” on his tie. DK almost blurted it out until he made up another name that had these abbreviations: “Dylan Kyle”. Everyone had a great time and the party ended successfully. But then, Pauline received an urgent phone call from the City Hall. A traitor and his accomplices were attempting a coup d’état for the Mayor’s position. Pauline prepared to leave but not before saying goodbye to “Dylan” and asking when will they see each other again to which DK replied “someday”. She then rushed to City Hall to confront the situation. Pauline’s most loyal mayoral staff were trying to fend off the mutineers out onto the streets, when the authorities arrived just in time to arrest them, Pauline had already cleverly called the authorities on her way back. But during the chaos, Donkey Kong knew that Pauline was in trouble and rushed off to help. Diddy was cautious though and wanted to go back home, but he had to follow his friend since he wouldn’t listen. He stayed mostly hidden. As he dashed across the streets of New York, DK didn’t notice that his “Dylan Kyle” disguise has blown away in the wind and people began to scream at the sight of the ape. After the cops arrested the mutineers and drove away, the situation had died down by that point, But DK not understanding that the chaos was over, dropped from a building, landed in front of Pauline and grabbed her, desperately trying to save her. The sounds of people screaming filled the air. The situation had grown more chaotic. DK didn’t understand why were they horrified until he realized too late that his suit was gone. He had no choice but to quickly sprint away with Pauline in tow, screaming for help. In the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario and Luigi were watching the news live on TV, and saw what was happening. Mario rushed off back to Brooklyn via warp pipe to stop DK. Back in Brooklyn, DK swung from building to building and came to rest on top of a construction site. Pauline had passed out because of the thrill ride. That’s when Mario spotted them, climbed up and confronted DK and demanded him to give Pauline back. DK tried to convince his old rival that this isn’t what it looks like and that he was just trying to save her, but Mario wouldn’t hear of it and the two began to fight. (That’s where this sequence plays out exactly like in the original Donkey Kong arcade game in movie version) Pauline wakes up and saw Mario and DK fighting, calling Mario out for help. For a minute there, Mario seemed to outsmart DK and made him fall off the platform and into the ground. Mario and Pauline were ready to make a quick getaway until DK punched the plumber away and grabbed poor Pauline again and sprinted off with Mario right behind them. Pauline passed out again. There was no time for DK to challenge the plumber for a rematch, for the cops were on their way to capture the ape that was loose on the city. DK managed to lose Mario and the cops and finally he spotted the pipe where he and Diddy came through. Diddy was there waiting for his friend but when he saw him carrying the unconscious mayor, he had a “what have you done?” look on his face. With no time to explain, DK grabbed Diddy, entered the pipe while covering it up and disappeared. That’s where the real adventure of the movie begins.
Another idea for the DK movie: they should also add Pauline in the cast. Donkey Kong started with her and Mario after all. And who might be the voice of Pauline you may ask? I want the beautifully talented Mandy Moore to voice her
Pff hahaha Sorry, the irony of Peter Dinklage voicing K. Rool, someone who TOWERS over DK (who is roughly about Bowser's size) is just too funny to resist laughing. No offense.
Well, this is just me, but I had a couple of ideas in mind. 1.) In one part of “The Donkey Kong Country Movie”, maybe DK can sing a cover of the Bow Wow Wow song, “I Want Candy” as a way of Donkey Kong expressing his feelings about Candy Kong. 2.) After the events of “The Donkey Kong Movie”, we could have a “Captain America 3: Civil War”-styled movie titled “The Super Mario Bros. VS. Donkey Kong Movie” or just plain “The Mario VS. Donkey Kong Movie”, which would be based on a theory I have about if Mario dated Mayor Pauline and how Donkey Kong (or Cranky Kong) would’ve remembered fighting Mario in the past before the events of “The Super Mario Bros. Movie”. This would tie in with the storyline of the original “Donkey Kong” arcade game. And in the present, King K. Rool and Bowser would form an alliance, which would strain Mario and Donkey Kong’s friendship until they decide to put aside their differences and save their respective homes in the Mushroom Kingdom.
